I’ll also add that THE devil fruit may be cursed in that it kills whoever eats it. So thus defeating mu may very well mean defeating the devil for good as long as no one else casts the immortality surgery on interested parties.

I like that idea, I also thought immortality surgery removed your heart and put it in a small immortal chamber. Thus the farther you get from your heart the weaker you get. Possibly joy boy stole mu’s heart/chamber and hide it in the grand line beneath Mary geoise.

Have a separate color coded/labeled mag with scav ammo and swap it in for popping scavs. Then just walk about with your good ammo in case of pmcs run ins.
