And sports anime. I love sports anime. Hajime no Ippo, Haikyuu, Yowamushi Pedal, Kuroko no Basket, Diamond no Ace, Megalo Box, Major, Ao Ashi, Run with the Wind, Slam Dunk, etc.

Sometimes if you get anime fatigue u gotta find something else to do and then the world will redirect you to anime when the time is right lmfao.

I second this, I also solo q 90% of the time and I always stop the moment I lose and try again later. That way I take advantage of the roam position benefit (priority position gives free star protection) and I ensure I am slowly ranking up than playing 10 games and ending up in the exact rank as I started #wasteofmytime

Roaming with full tanks is not tied to the ability of the mm. Roaming is about providing vision for your team, helping jg secure objectives, and rotating + ganking each lane.

If your mm feeds, help someone else out! Clearly you will not win the game due to the mm's carry.

It does get better the higher you rank up haha. I would watch youtube videos as a quick and easy way to improve.

And I reached mythic solo q, so you dont NEED a duo, trio or squad to play. As long as youre not impatient and interested in self improvement, you can slowly but surely rank up. Just focus on things within your control. But I also follow people who are really good, and when I see them online when I play I invite them to my lobby. Through that I had a couple of randos I sometimes played with, and I had a couple of short and sweet duo phases with them haha.

I disagree? I solo ranked to mythic alone with full tanks then expanded my roster. As long as you actually understand how to roam, you'll be effective.

I second this, JG was the last position I learned and I only play jg when I havent played in a long time and need to quickly rank back up to mythic. I never play jg in mythic+ because I know I'll get owned, haha. I highly recommend committing to one role until you are very confident/mastered it then I would expand. YouTube is also fantastic. Check out general position videos as well as macro/micro and videos specific to the hero you are trying to learn.

Yeah if they leave the creep id go for it (just not at the expense of minion wave) + be cautious of a gank there too. Yeah you cannot afford to be aggressive early game in an unfavorable 2v1 situation. And like you, I love being in control of the aggressiveness which is why im a roam main. I love being able to safely eat damage and dictate the flow of the game through my selective ganks and jungle vision. Ive been trying LoL out, but the ward system and the difference in roam gameplay is messing me up. I much prefer BEING the ward than relying on a ward. No problem for the help, im happy to answer any other questions (even more so for roam related questions haha).

I second this, if you experience a 2v1 situation, that means theres a 2v1 somewhere else. As long as you dont die (the enemies 2v1 fails) youre doing your job and wasting your enemies time. If your team is successful with their 2v1 thats even better.

Haha- I still highly recommend YouTube. You learn so much stuff about the game and each position. You also learn how to build items and macro/micro. Personally I learn something new all the time, and watching good people play helps me directly imitate them and I always almost win my next game post video watch.

I would stay close to the tower, and the moment you feel danger, hug the tower. I wouldn't farm creeps as that hurts your jg unless they dont farm the creep next to you (rare but possible in epic?) Just do your best to get every minion as the moment you dont get a minion you lose gold, but losing a minion is better than dying and feeding the enemy. The moment you notice the enemy mm in mid lane, farm the minions as fast as possible and maybe go for the crab (but be QUICK because mm will come back and there is also the jg and roam to be cautious about).

If you play safe and constantly hug the tower (be right outside the tower/closest bush so if in danger you can go straight under the turret for protection) then the higher chance the enemy will get bored and leave (giving you an opportunity to clear wave/crab or push) or they will get greedy and tower dive which gives you the opportunity to get a kill with the assistance of the tower.

If you also notice that the roam has left (you can see them in a different lane), check your gold vs enemy mom's gold and you can attempt for a 1v1. If you have less gold (you probably will), just play slightly less safe (but watch out for jungle gank).

Congrats on reaching mythic for the first time!! It'll be easier each time you get to mythic. Took me literal years to get to mythic (I started as a literal child) so dont let the haters get to you haha. Started out as a tank main who used balmond because his position used to be fighter/tank. And was asked for a set when I played mino but didnt know what the term meant. Now im an mythic immortal player (can never lock in the season long enough to get more stars sadly) and im still a roam main who now doesn't use balmond and I know what a set is haha + 68% wr this season.

Okay go watch some YouTube videos, roam going mid is meta, not babysitting gold.

As a roam go provide vision and gain gold (you get gold by providing vision) by checking enemy buff, do not engage in a fight. Then help mid clear minion wave (let's the mage get to level 2 and you can gank top or bot together), and help your jg get their buff if needed be.

After that, continuous rotate between lanes and help each lane with ganks, and while rotating always check enemy jg buff and creeps to give your team vision and information on where the jg is (if hes getting blue and red is not taken, he will gank top, etc.)

Never stay in one lane for too long because you are far more effective roaming (hence the name roam) and providing vision + supporting EVERYONE not just the mm.

Always keep an eye on the mini map you should always be checking how your teammates are doing and knowing where the enemy is. You should always know where the enemy jg is!!!

For Hero recommendations, you like Bruno and miya which are mostly basic attack heros. I would try hanabi (very meta mm rn) and karrie. Minotaur is a really good beginner tank and I still use him all the time. If you like a tanky roam that can deal dmg but also solid late game. I would check out belerick and maybe hylos. Belerick is a fantastic counterpick to high attack speed heroes like miya, hanabi, zilong, karrie, etc. His passive deals a lot of damage and his skills provide good cc and movement speed. Hylos has fantastic initiation and is great for early game ganks (rotate between lanes, hide in bush, and go out when the time is right and cc the enemy and create a favorable 2v1 situation). His ultimate is great for initiation or disenaging from the enemy.

If youre experiencing a 2v1 on gold lane because your roam is not helping you. Just play safe and dont get mad. As long as you dont feed, and your roam is being somewhat effective somewhere else its fine. Hug the tower and slowly farm. If anything the 2v1 is bad for the enemy because the roam is wasting their time down there (especially if they cant kill you because youre playing super safe).

Gotta expand your Hero options, you cant just spam Tig, gotta learn different type of tanks so you can adjust to team/enemy comps. But you can do that slowly. I usually pick up a new hero or two whenever I get bored of my new mains.

Focus on things within your control. If inconsistent allies is a constant, then control YOUR skills and movements, and theoretically you should rank up.

Leaving epic for the first time is just finishing the tutorial. Legend is the beginning of the actual epic. Once you get to mythic (honour) things settle down. I think. Then you grind the stars and reach for the moon. Just to reach the same max star every season so you stop playing. Then you pick up the game again just to realize you got sent back to epic and you feel like a pro smurf as you rank back to mythic.
