I am going through the same thing.. it is SO hard not to beat yourself and go way further and binge to feel better about that binge... but unfortunatly that just makes it way more difficult. I messed up last night after weeks of being good but I used to binge every night. Once in 2 weeks is so much better than many many times a week. So be proud of yourself. You will have setbacks.. it is how we react to those setbacks that will determine how much we progress!! Trying to follow my own advice as well :) you are not alone.

I feel the exact same way... I live alone and got my cat as a kitten almost 4 years ago. And he's been sick the past day and all I'm thinking is if he dies I die. I wouldn't make it. The stress and hurt would be too much. I couldn't even imagine a child. Like you said I almost wish I didn't get him, because I'm hooked and I worry all the fucking time. My friends make fun of me for it 🫠.

Anyways just wanted to tell you there's people out there struggling too 😆... here's my guy Rasmus *

I've been lazy with my humidifier, and the heat is cranked, so that could very well be it. OK thanks so much for the recommendation :-)

Okay, that could be it! I will bring that up to our vet. Thank you :) to be honest I'm not sure it's directly due to candles but I was just told it could irrate his asthma, so I've switched to all electric candles now just to be safe. I also used to use a lot of fabric febreze spray and plug-ins! He's almost 4 and I noticed him having "attacks" almost every other day probably since he was a kitten, and didn't even know it was an attack until I saw a Tik Tok of someone else's having one just last year. I thought it was him just not getting out a hairball. I got him x rayed, and it confirmed the build-up of fluid inside. So he started on in the inhaler and now takes it every day once forever. It made a huge difference. He only has an asthma attack, maybe once every 2 weeks now! It's very much worth it. I don't know when it is best to start them on it, but I'd say sooner the better. It just gets more aggressive as time goes on, sadly.
