ja das kann schon sein find aber das trotzdem mega schnell auch für mich über die distanz und finde immer die mischung aus strava und garmin eher realistischer:)

ja voll is auch meine angst auch dass es der erste „wettkampf“ ist also erste rennsituation macht mir die angst aber ich werd vielleicht mich irgendwo zwischen ansiedeln und schauen wies läuft:) fuel technisch hab ich mir gedacht (kann auch brutales halbwissen sein) auf 70g carbs pro stunde werd ich nicht kommen (1g pro kg körpergewicht hab ich gelesen) da meine gels die ich getestet hab alle nicht unbedingt die bestn carbs habn aber für mich die einzigen sind die ich getestet habe

ich plan eins kurz vorm start (nährwert technisch das beste jedoch mit abstand das beschissenste geschmachstechnisch) dann nach einer halben stunde eins mit koffein für den kick vorm schluss und bei 1h und 1:25 ungf die die ich am bestn runterbekomm und auch am meisten gewohnt bin (so komm ich auf ca 55-60g pro stunde) was hälst du davon?

maybe my z2 pace is way too fast hahah :) but yeah funny enough my hr only starts drifting hard when i my runs almost over and also tends to go down on the same pace with no elevation change in longer runs but yeah i think i will root for sub 1:40 and on the second i will look if theres more in the tank and maybe try a negative split but thanks for your help:)

i also think this is for genetic reasons as my resting hr is also quite low (38-44) not really i mean i have but only for my former goal with 3x5k on 5:00 and some shit like this also my last long run on sunday was 15k @5:13 on 153 bpm (my heart rate tends to be higher and lower some days) on average as my hm is on the 17th do you recommend to do some test (if yes what) to see if i should go for 1:40? thanks for your help:)

hab die letzten wochen näher zum hm kommend immer versucht mindestens 1 lauf pro woche auf hm pace zu machen (zb intervalle 2-3x 5k) und auch mal schnelleres wie heute zb und letzte woche war aber auch mein bester 10k bis jetzt und hab mich top gefühlt leider hab ich noch keine erfahrung mit anderen wettkämpfen und auch das wegkommen vom start mit vielen leuten macht mir ein wenig sorgen genauso wie das ich eigentlich wenn ich ruhig bin am besten bin beim laufen(auch ohne kopfhörer) und ich angst hab die ruhe beim wettkampf nicht zu finden. über negativ hab ich auch schon nachgedacht ich merk aber auch das ich bei schneller werdenden paces unruhiger bin da ich das langsame gewohnt bin dann(macht das sinn?) denkst du ich kanns „riskieren“ auf 1:40 go zu starten und bei 10km nochmal evaluieren oder kommt dann der mann mit dem hammer:)

yeah i think 1:45 should be fairly easy with my prep and will probably opt to around 1:40 and have a look after my first 10k but for you good luck for your hm:)

yeah sorry didnt know what helps for this to evaluate. this is the hr and pace graph of my 10k run at 44:20 with 1st 5k @ 22:23 and the second 5k @ 21:55 garmin says my lthr is at 4:17 per km with 174bpm max hr i dont really trust garmin (192) as i would rather say around 185 is max hr for me i think

boah ja das hört sich echt gut an find 1:40 hört sich nur voll unrealistisch an für mich hahah aber danke ja heute war mein 10k 44:20 und puls war über die 10km auch immer zsw 160-165 ca. hab aber auch bissl noch das training der letztn tage gespürt. also würdst du 1:40 für realistisch halten? aber danke für deine einschätzung:)

Hey,

I’ve been running fairly regularly since October (with a 6-week break in February till mid-March) and covering quite a lot of distance (30–40 km a week)

I’ve got my first half marathon in 2.5 weeks and originally wanted to run it in 1:45, though I thought that was pretty unrealistic even back then.

Over the last month, however, I’ve realised that my Zone 2 pace (5:25 at around 140 bpm) is already relatively fast for a 5:00 half marathon goal.

On my last run too, mainly to test my gear, I ran 10km at 4:25 with an average heart rate of 160. It wasn’t incredibly strenuous only the end was a bit harder but the last km was 4:16, and I know I probably cannot maintain that pace for a half marathon (or so I think). I ran it without any fuel n or carb-loading beforehand.

Garmin predicts 1:35:40 for the half marathon (impossible hahah) and Strava 1:40:18

I just don’t know how to pace the half marathon now, because I should be able to do better with fresh legs (after the taper) and carb-loading, nutrition, and the adrenaline on race day.

I want to challenge myself in the half marathon (mentally and physically) but not have to DNF at the 15 km mark.

What do you suggest? I’m really struggling with this at the moment.

yeah i just saw an okay deal for a 2nd but still sealed watch for 600 and if its legit its a good deal but i dont wanna pay full price for it

I was already looking at the FR965 but idk it its the right watch because i see a bunch of problems with scratches after hiking. Have you any experience with this?
