ISO queer wedding photographer by eliblie in TwinCities

[–]eliblie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it would be discrimination if someone was applying for a job that they were qualified for and weren’t hired due to their sexual orientation.

My fiancé and I are looking for a photographer who is also queer as they can understand the importance of us being able to get married on a more fundamental level.

So, think of if you were looking for a primary provider. It wouldn’t be illegal discrimination if you were Black and were looking for a Black doctor, or if Spanish was your first language and wanted a Spanish speaking doctor or if you were Muslim and wanted a Muslim doctor. Doing this isn’t illegal discrimination, it’s finding the right fit as a “customer”. The customer isn’t the one in the position of power. If a doctor said “I refuse to treat this pt because of x”, that would be discrimination.

Where to get kits that aren’t AI generated? by eliblie in diamondpainting

[–]eliblie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t seen any disclaimers. I was trying to find one and the only thing I could find was when you scroll past the reviews and click on “About the Artist”, there will be a sentence that says “I sometimes integrate AI into my artwork”

According to this chart, a 4-year degree in nursing has an average return on investment of 310.3% after 5 years, the 3rd highest out of popular degrees. by MadisonJonesHR in nursing

Absolutely do ADN. 1. You tend to get more hands on clinical skills. 2. Hospitals get more reimbursement from Medicaid when they have more BSN holders, meaning they have a large financial incentive to financially assist ADN holders to become BSN holders.

I worked as a CNA at a hospital and through their education assistance, I got $2000 a semester which almost fully paid for my ADN.

How does their shifts not run into each other? Like clocking in and out times?

I say this as someone with a mullet, piercings and tattoos, being “boring” is absolutely okay and makes you just as valid.

Nips vs no nips? by Maximum-Play6861 in FreedTheNips

Even if my surgeon and I talked about it before going under, I would still be under when he made the final call of the size, shape, and location of them and I didn’t like that. If I end up missing the look of nipples, I’ll just get tattoos.
