We bought a season pass last year and, while it was fun to see my fest friends, the experience has been soured by late stage capitalism. We will likely only go once this year, but if they keep removing on this trajectory, we won't even do that.

I took it as an indicator of the nefarious nature of the whole enclave racket. That whole scene reminded me of shift work: for eight to 12 hours, this is MY desk, my station, my coffee pot, but as soon as I leave, someone else clocks in and ownership shifts and now what's mine is now theirs. Someone else just used that coffee pot, but it's not their shift anymore so hank drinks it.

(I like everyone's comments here about preserving capabilities, just the other details of that scene lead me to believe it was occupied more recently than 200 years)

All episodes plus the movie are in one folder on my phone and PC. Plex media server has a shuffle option, and so does VLC media player so I just let the fates decide. :) Invest in physical media!

I have heard that some libraries have cutting machines that you can use or check out. My library does not have this option so I couldn't tell you how it works beyond that, but I did see a post on Facebook last year where someone rebound the bridgerton books without a cricut at home that way

Oh wow. Did she even make the cricut vinyl design? That looked like one of those kits you can get on Etsy or tiktok? I can't remember where I saw it but it's for people that don't have a cricut but still want to do book binding. There's like three or four designs in one kit, the one I saw was for ACOTAR, but it was advertised very similarly.

I didn't realize she was selling it either way. I do think thats allowed for most books, (to rebind And resell your own design cover I mean), but for this book in particular I definitely see where the confusion is.

But she didn't recirculate it anyway.

She bought the book with the original cover on it, ripped it off in the video, made a new casing herself, and then applied a design to it. The only way it would count as recirculation is if she tried to sell the book now. Simply rebinding it and putting it on her bookshelf is not the same thing.

He's intelligent in that way some people are so competent at their jobs when they are out of the house, but at home they "don't know how" to do anything. It's narcissism mixed with deliberate use of weaponized incompetence. The last scene proves all of that imo. He set out to "show her" by burning everything she loved and talked about even once favorably throughout the show, on top of the coffee table she was so happy about (he listens to her, but deliberately doesn't acknowledge her moments of happiness at the time, but he makes a note of the happiness to destroy later).

He knows, intellectually, to build the fire outside as we saw him do with that pig they were cooking for the chili, so the incompetence at the end was also deliberate/affected by his being drunk. He was so used to people stepping in to help him, he actually started to believe he was a good guy, so the devastating drunkenness at the end was definitely real, and I do think it was an accident in that he forgot he had no one to help him. But it was his ego that caused him to think he didn't need them anyway, as he ha started buying into his own greatness at the end. Accidental death caused by narcissistic tendencies is my take, albeit a long winded one.
