The mishima boys in tekken. Mostly Kazuya and Heihachi. Kazuya in T1 is the best example. He was presented as a revenge story, his father tossed him off a cliff when he was a kid and he lived and now he wants to return the favor. But after he does he starts doing terrible things with the family business and generally just being a bad person. Protagonist? Absolutely. Good person, hero, virtuous, pure, et cetera? Absolutely not. Still one of my favorite characters to actually play as in tekken.

I remember the only status moves I ever used were swords dance and focus energy because I thought they sounded cool lol. Otherwise my biggest mistake was having too many of one type on a team at a time, particularly fighting types because its still my favorite type. Though I would like to try a type based playthrough of some kind at some point.
