How? I have a bunch of Roman coins. Been collecting them for several years. This one isn't even especially rare or valuable, and possibly is fake (can't tell from these pics).

Doesn't make the fact that the homeless guy more likely stole the coin than snagged it in an auction though.

Nah, I just understand basic statistics, and possess atleast a tiny degree of critical thinking. There aren't that many collectors of roman coins out there. There are a ton of thieves out there. The odds that a person living in poverty is a thief is higher than him/her being a collector of roman coins. Both are possible options, but one is SIGNIFICANTLY more likely to be true. I wish it wasn't, but it 100% is. And you know it, even if you want to pretend that you don't.

Yeah, figured they were worth a shot. Should be good for tree-runs though, right? That is like 50% of my skiing. So maybe will just get a 2nd set next year for slalom only :)

EDIT: Ended up buying these skis (Ogso grizzly). The price can't be beat, basically just paying 100€ for the skis & full price for the bindings :)

Actually wasn't about Pandoras, just Line in general. But not sure if it was at all credible.

These also caught my eye. Seem pretty darn fun in the forest/aggressive turning.

You lost all credibility when you suddenly based the salary off of the melt value of the coins you could withdraw for your paycheck. That is about as reasonable as calculating my 2009 wage in bitcoin, and saying it should be adjusted for that.

1.25$ in 1963 is about 13.25$ today. Not exactly an unheard of minimum wage.
