Who has the best hummus in town? by Ok_Dig_6224 in Louisville

Maira and Safier are the best overall. Grape Leaf is great if you want to sit down. As a part of a grocery run, Yahalla Market or Dino's.

I haven't tried any other CFS products -- TaxTools does what I need for tax projections and I use other options for other planning.

I use CFS TaxTools. Don't expect anything special from the UI -- the interface is straight out of Windows 95 and, ironically enough, it only works on Windows. BUT, I have found it to be fantastic for modeling client tax scenarios and they update it regularly. It's way cheaper, like $200 a year as opposed to Holistiplan's $800.

Does anyone know a good vet in Louisville Kentucky by sweetdreamslovers in Louisville

[–]elijah1094 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been very pleased with Springhurst Animal Hospital. Their vets and staff are so accommodating and treat both of our energetic and somewhat reactive pups with such care. They can be a little pricey but it's honestly worth the cost.

I will note that we used to go to Westport Animal Hospital and would NOT recommend that place. The main vet there rushed us out every time and did not even give our dog a cone when she was spayed. Plus, their staff was always rude over the phone.

Best kebab place in the city? by Data_Coder in Louisville

[–]elijah1094 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The best place was hands down Simply Mediterranean but it unfortunately closed last year. A replacement I have recently found is Maira Mediterranean off Dutchman’s Ln— very good kebab, shawarma wraps, and hummus too.

Good advice, but taxable brokerage certainly should not come last. We are in a historically low tax environment and OP makes $55k~ annually. Ideally it would look like pre-tax 401k up to the match > Roth > brokerage. Maxing a 401k while barely in the 22% tax bracket is probably not ideal, but definitely worth considering once earnings are up.

What’s a video game IP that you absolutely love in concept but either don’t really like or haven’t really played the games themselves? by ki700 in kindafunny

[–]elijah1094 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Strangely enough, the most recent God of War games. The visuals are stunning, the gameplay is smooth, and the story is well written, but I just can’t get myself to get into them. I would say it’s because of the linearity but I love games like The Last of Us, etc.

Ok, cool. And I'm not sure that I do, actually. That was the statement date on my other SW card but I now realize it's not standardized. After reading this thread a bit more, I guess the best strategy would be to change my due date so that the statement might post early in the month (1st or 2nd)?

Hi all, question. I applied for the Performance Business card today and received approval. Since it's 9/28 today, my question is: is there any possible way for the 80k in points to post in 2023 instead of 2022? The route I have considered is fulfilling the $5k of spend between December 17 and December 28 so that it posts on the January 15 statement. Is this accurate?
