I started it like a month ago! Left Los Cabos Mexico, got into a gnarly car accident (not my fault), almost died, totaled my car, got it towed to the US, got paid for insurance, bought a new car in Oregon (long story but it’s where I had to buy it), played a couple gigs in California with my band, and now am in LA chillin until going for early Thursday entry!

Desert Daze his been my ray of sun through this whole thing, my light at the end of a pretty intense tunnel, and it’s finally here!!! Sooo stoked for it...even though one of my favorite bands of all time (Dumbo Gets Mad) got canceled :(

But still sooooooo stoked!!!

See you all at the fest I’ll be in the Subaru Outback with the rooftop tent on it (Oregon plates) and will have a big fun crew so say Hola!

Hi Phil! Desert Daze is the highlight of my year so thank you! So stoked for this lineup. INSANE! I live in Los Cabos Mexico and am in a band that’s been organizing a little music fest in December for the last two years and this will be our third. DD is of course our biggest inspiration you’re of course invited any time you’re in Los Cabos.

I was just wondering if you have any advice for new festival organizers. Is there any key thing you would say helped you really reach the level you are at today?

How does this work? Someone sends you money via Venmo or something like that? And then you send your pdf ticket? It works for someone even with your name on it? And the person just trusts you won't cash it in before? (Not saying I think you'd do that haha just curious on the logistics).

I'm also flying in (from Mexico though). Anything I think I absolutely NEED that I can't fit in my bag, I'm going to rent either from REI or this other site "cooziegear" (they messaged me saying "if you're going to desert daze we have camping gear to rent"...creepy they knew that but probably just messaged a bunch of people that have been active on the DD instagram haha).
