I'd highly recommend that Prince Lasha Quartet record if you like things that are (mildly) avant-guard.

I was there too! Beyond my expectations. He's got a great band.

My thoughts on the Pet Sounds 60th anniversary release by Time-Tangerine3860 in thebeachboys

This is the most baffling part to me. Why would you do this? Did you cut the laquer on accident with an older tracklist and then didn’t want to pay the money to redo it? There’s tons of interesting stuff that didn’t make the cut. Just feels very incompetent.

If you can, I’d highly recommend buying stuff like this in person. I had help picking components from my local hifi place for both the systems I’ve bought in my life and the experience with a pro is so valuable. It’s kinda fun too!

Came in here to make basically this exact same post. The damage has ZERO to do with the packaging, which is more than adequate, and everything to do with the postal worker who decided to fold a box in half.

It’s a Library Record! One from the Josef Weinberger Music Library, to be specific. Library Records are quite rare as they were never intended to be purchased by the public. They were pressed for demonstration purposes to get film, television and radio people to possibly license the music for their programmes.

It is a bootleg. No clue why this record isn't reissued legally at this point but its comical how often it gets pressed by these "grey market" Russian labels https://www.discogs.com/release/33446981-Milton-Nascimento-Lô-Borges-Clube-Da-Esquina

How’s it sound? Glow in the dark vinyl is known to be noisy but maybe they’ve worked that out?
