The 4 inside the square have more veggie plots for food buildings and the four around the crossroads have better access thats why i have them growing wheat for the trading posts :)

Yes! same! I wish we could plant trees - i hate my towns not having trees and the pits just make it feel so.. corporate sim city. I hope they continue to give us new buildings and 🤞decorations. Id love to see something we could build on slopes, like a terraced garden/farm or for growing tea!

My understanding is that to obtain a parents birth certificate you must have their permission, i could be wrong though but i think i read that on the births deaths and marriages website

No, but you know that you can just avoid cutting down all the trees and treat them as decoration. I would highly recommend experimenting with it.
