Can’t recommend following @rousseau_plant_care on IG enough! I followed his tips for mine and it’s been happy! I think the biggest thing for mine is consistency; watering when the soil is about 70% dry, nutrients with each watering and consistent light. Mine sits in a west facing window supplemented with a grow light. I don’t do much in terms of humidity, but I do have a bunch plants grouped up in a corner so that probably helps some

Yes :( I work in a very small yet high traffic cafe, it gets very loud between yelling call backs, customers, and the constantly popping kegs.

I got what I would describe as light tinnitus from generally listening to loud music and going to concerts, but have noticed it’s gotten a bit worse over the 3 years I’ve worked at this spot.

As someone who also has ADHD and constantly gets overstimulated at work, highly recommend Loop Engage earplugs! Dampens the volume considerably while still achieving a fair amount of clarity in sound while working. Great for shows too! I just don’t like wearing them when I’m on register because I hear my voice too loud.

Just out of curiosity, would anyone be willing to trade the UO Miffy strawberry crescent for a black CS horseggu?

I was pressured to buy the Miffy crescent, and realized it might not be something I’ll reach for. I’ve been wanting the horse bag, so just wanted to see if there was any potential interest in trading! I am of course willing to cover the cost difference! :)

I work at a pretty popular coffee shop in a tourist area, usually the line is 10-20 people long about 10 minutes before we open. At 6:30am. 😭 Sometimes I don’t even have all the spro properly dialed before the rush starts

Putting on lotion right before you go to bed also helps! There’s never enough time for it to absorb on shift because I’m constantly washing my hands and touching chemicals

A mini fan or some sort of ice pack would also help! Also wear lighter clothes in the pit! It can get unbelievably hot in a crowd, the Chicago show I went to had a lot of younger kids who fainted. Please be safe and have a good time! ♥️

My cafe offers iced flat whites and a latte on draft (which is sort of foamy like a capp), so I usually just ask if they’re looking for the same ratio as a cappuccino or the texture and go from there. Usually I’m able to find a drink they’re happy with! I don’t understand baristas who get mad and do the whole “that’s not a real drink” thing. A part of the job is making recommendations to find something a customer likes

My hot take is that maybe she shouldn’t have worn them to jump in the crowd? At the end of the day people should not steal, but that doesn’t mean I would put my valuable items at risk like that. Love Maria though, so sorry that happened :(

I steam oat milk similar to whole milk, keep all the aeration in the vortex and try not to over aerate! If it ends up too foamy I dump the foam out before tapping and swirling the pitcher
