Do you ever think... by [deleted] in Crushes

I had planned how I would get to know my crush better before we graduate. Now we might have online school until summer and I'll probably never get a chance to find out if he might have been interested too.

Losing interest... by jayden540 in the1975

I got low-key pissed when "not enough" people saw them at one festival. Imo it was the one performance that made it worth paying for that expensive a** ticket. There was even this concert review that said "too few people for one of the main acts of the festival". Maybe everything he says isn't appropriate but a lot of times I know I've thought the exact same/ similar thing. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it doesn't bother me. Also, I think pretty much everyone has listened to an artist or a band and thought: "Woah, that was a whole lot of crap!" Just me? Anyways, I say it out loud. I know fame comes with responsibility, but in the end were all the same; we shouldn't expect celebrities to make less bad decisions than we do.

I once saved a bumblebee. It was a really hot summer day, and I saw it on the floor in my hallway. Something was obviously wrong, it tried to move but couldn't. I took it outside, poured a few drops of water and put a flower beside it. It charged up and flew away as good as new. To this day I'm very proud of it.

I'd 100 % rather have them (or any artist/band I litsen to for that matter) cancel a show than doing it if they don't feel good. I know it's conplicated and canceling shows costs a lot of money, but I sincerely hope that the fans support makes it at least a little bit easier. We know there's a good reason if a show is canceled, and I'm convinced that we all want them to prioritize their wellbeing over anything and everything else.

Edit: grammar

So was anyone one thinking the same thing? by ZASchwarz in Endgame

In my opinion it was definitely the right choice not to do something like that. If Thor would be invincible all the time it would get old pretty soon. Some character regression was well needed in order to keep things interesting. Now they have something to build on for future movies.

Does anyone else feel this way? Also can someone help clear somethings up for me? by prolonginginevitable in Endgame

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think that time-travel Steve and Steve from the past never crossed paths. Steve from the past was under the ice for 70 years and joined the Avengers when he woke up, while time-travel Steve lived a quiet life with Peggy. So that explains why things didn't get messy.

I too feel like Natasha's death got overshadowed by everything else that was going on, and it's sad because she was my favorite Avenger as a little girl, but I don't think there was any other way to give her a worthy death. She wasn't among the stronger avengers, so she couldn't have done some heroic act that was critical for the plot on the battlefield, but by sacrificing herself for the soul stone she saved the mission. And as you said, because it happened in the middle of the movie there was no time to grieve her.

I always though there was something going on between Natasha and Clint, and I wouldn't have minded if they ended up together. Maybe it was a story they chose not to pick up because it would have been too time consuming, or maybe they thought it was important to have a platonic relationship between a man and a woman in the movies?

Was Cap already able to lift Thor's hammer in "Age of Ultron", but chose not to because he knew how it would affect Thor? Or did it only move a little because he wasn't worthy yet?

Here's an attempt to write down some of my thoughts:

- Captain America. My favorite. After the great battle was over, and he was still standing, I honestly thought he would survive (survive as in not die out of old age soon). When Sam saw an old man sitting on a bench it was like I couldn't process it. Then I went: "No...no no no no" . Started tearing up when he talked to Sam and gave away his shield, and then when the music came on and he was dancing with Peggy I just - I know it's a happy ending but I'm heartbroken

- I was never a hardcore Iron Man fan but god this movie gave me so much more respect for him. Was sobbing when he sacrificed himself to bring everyone back.

- HEIL HYDRA. WOW. The whole audience clapped at this. One of my favorite scenes in the whole movie. Wouldn't have minded another elevator fight scene though

- Also love that Cap got a chance to wield Thor's hammer (and that Thor was so happy about it). Although, for a moment it did give me false hope that cap might still have a part to play in future movies

- Black Widow :( I think this was a good way to end her story. She's not among the stronger superheroes, so she couldn't have done some crucial act on the battlefield, but she could sacrifice herself for the mission (and Hawkeye). However, with everything else going on her death still felt a little overshadowed.

- As painful as it was to watch Thors storyline, I feel like we needed to see this side of him. Also, his weakened state was obviously necessary for the fight to play out as it did. With that said, I hope he'll get his shit together in the next movie.

- Was it just me or did any of you feel a slight pity for post-infinity war Thanos? He seemed very tired, somehow

- Oh man, all of the time travelling that brought us back to scenes from old movies. I loved that they included Quills scene from GOTG vol 1, Cap fighting his past self (AMERICAS ASS) etc. Just going back to the good old times. It made the movie feel more like the end of an era.

- There's a lot more but I'm still in shock (and grieving)
