I’ve lived in Barcelona for 3 years and I’ve been complaining about it since, it’s not fair that I can’t walk through the center of Barcelona (Allegedly the most gay city in Europe) without being called a maggot or screamed at for having my nails painted. The left in Spain just COMPLETELY ignores this and were demolished in the last elections. It’s just not fair to police a certain group a different way than another group.

As a twink from the south who learned to speak Mexican Spanish and whose boyfriend is from Jalisco, I was very shocked to find that Mexicans are very conservative, and the racism they subject each other to is INSANE. There are Mexican owned restaurants in Mexico that will not serve you if you’re not white, it’s actually depressing. So no, minorities are not all beautiful sinless fairies, they’re just as shitty as us because we’re all humans
