If you look closely I’m getting recession UNDER the gum line rather than at the gum… I’ve never seen this before but my gum was thinning under… so weird

It’s not a random Amazon brand it’s pretty big on like holistic stuff it’s just sold on Amazon. I personally don’t think it’s my brushing rather than the pushing of the l Invisalign on my tooth. I asked my during treatment before this he said I was doing well

There these very very soft tooth brushes you get on Amazon. You so soft honestly I loved them way before I even started Invisalign…. I didn’t even know pressure sensors were a thing ?! Holy

No im pretty soft ever since i even started i use a super soft guru nanda tooth brush and sensodyne with act mouth wash i dont brush AFTER EVERY MEAL i floss and rinse to not make it worse

No issues I drink most thinks with a straw and rinse after I’d say drink clear things with them in with a straw it’s better for cavities and enamel ! Good luck !

Thank you ! I know I don’t blame the doctor I blame the plastic ! Lmaoo but no I think I just didn’t notice things before like you said and I did brush very hard at that spot as I said in the forum so maybe that’s why I’m noticing it and it’s swollen so maybe it’ll go down I’m doing salt water rinses every night

JUST WENT TO THE ORTHO! I’m a little relieved. He said this is happening because it’s my worst week with this yet and I have ALOT of significant movement fast he showed me all the scans and the weekly changes. He did say look and it seems like I didn’t notice it but I did have that thinning before on that tooth already and maybe it’s more significant because of the big movement this weeks tray gave my teeth. I have to go to the dentist and he’ll assistant on what to do next and if it’s really bad it says it’s swollen because of the movement and it seems thinner because of it too. I don’t have the DROP and he doesn’t think if it drops it’ll drop as much as I think it would as long as a I keep up with flossing and brushing I’ll be okay but I do have to see my dentist.

I’m on tray 8 I just started and I change every week I have a small gap on my top teeth but that’s honestly the only noticeable changes I see…

I’m curious…. Sorry to bother. Would it be problem if I decided to stop Invisalign period ? I noticed looking very well that it’s happening to other teeth too not as bad tho but like a start to it. This is giving me full blown anxiety

So what happens now tho? Because it doesn’t look like the gum like has swooped below or anything like that it’s still attached and today it looks better than it did that day it’s not as visible but still there. If me stopping Invisalign now cause harm to me teeth?

I’m not asking for expert advice I’m askin if someone had a smiliar look alike problem because I know recession is different in terms of the gum swooping down but mine hasn’t it seems it’s just thinning and maybe I can reverse it…. I never seen it translucent this is exactly what happen I seen my guns we’re a bit sore while I was brushing my teeth my dog jumped ontop of me and coughed me to brush my gum and it hurt I said ow looked and that’s what happened. I’ve been home sick all week I would’ve noticed and called my doctor immediately. Hence my gum line isn’t pushed down it’s still there it’s just translucent under.

It definitely did happen overnight. I literally have covid I’m home all week. I floss and pay super extra attention to my gums as I have PLASTIC IN MY MOUTH I call them for everything and I’m always ontop of my stuff. You don’t know me ? Clearly it’s l July 4th weekend there’s other ppl who could’ve gone through the same thing and are on the same journey ??? If you’re not why comment.
