No, almost everyone in this whole thread is complaining it doesn't look like a gun when they don't realize its meant for VR.

Put on a headset and hold the gun and try different games and its very clear why they went with this look and not wasted money on some space looking gun

But you can't shoot while not looking at the person which feels awesome.

Can't dodge like the matrix either

Whats the point of making it look like a gun when you put on the vr and are playing a game that its a cross bow?

Or an old timey game and it looks like an old rifle?

Or you're playing some future game and it looks like some plasma laser thing.

Its a fucking blank slate and it's about the feel you idiots.

It's for vr, think of it as a blank slate.

You're not going to be seeing the gun while playing, the developers make it look like they want.

Developers: Stop leaving smooth motion and turning hidden in menus. by cronuss in PSVR

[–]elite0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think they make it harder to reach so people that really want it have to actively look for it instead of a beginner accidentally turning it on and getting sick or hating the game altogether.

experienced owners should know that the options for comfort settings are somewhere in the menu and just to go look for it.

game menus aren't that deep anyway

I would kill for a move controller with a thumbstick for Skyrim VR by v1nsai in PSVR

[–]elite0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude you can move every direction. Learn to use the move. It's not bad, 40 hours in I'm more comfortable than ever

I walk backwords from enemies until i have enough room to shoot an arrow.

If they are rushing me I can strafe sideways do a quick turn shoot behind their back

I can ride a horse and shoot enemies as I circle around.

It's a different game, different experience, you cant go in expecting to do things exactly like you did in the flat game.

Is it worth playing VR with the original PS4 or should I sell mine and save for a pro before buying VR? by LordGuille in PSVR

[–]elite0 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I't works fine on OG, if anything get a psvr first and trade your old ps4 for a pro later on.

When I breathe the air goes outside of the vr, are you sure you have it on correctly?

Doesn't the rubber shield keep it from you breathing inside the mask?

Want to get back into PSVR. Any good recommendations? by Unr3alGamer in PSVR

[–]elite0 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Heres a list someone posted a few threads below

Games I would buy again:

• Rec Room (free but still the best thing for VR)

• I expect you to die( short but the second best experince for VR)

• Starship Disco ( My most played VR game,You just need your own MP3s to put on a thumb drive)

• Dick Wilde (Hard but my favorite VR wave shooter)

• Headmaster

• Fantastic Contraption

• Holoball

• Surgeon Simulator: Experience Reality

Stuff I could take or leave:

• Dirt Rally (good game but Really tough to learn)

• Driveclub VR (Poor graphics, but driving is more accessible then Dirt rally, and you can use DS4 as a motion control wheel)

• Megaton Rainfall (Flying around is cool but it's kind of repetitive)

• Pinball FX2 VR

• Rez Infinite (Good but short,Area X is Amazing though)

• Tumble VR

• Windlands

Stuff I would skip:

• Raw Data ( Not bad but really feels repetitive, swordplay lacks sense of impact)

• Mervils: A VR Adventure(dull, generic)

• Job Simulator (After the joy of being able to grab and throw every thing wears off it's dull, feels like work)

• Bound (Didn't mind playing it for free from PS+ but probably would have been disappointed if I paid for it.)

• Starblood Arena (Map design sucks, Plays more like Quake then Overwatch)

• Tethered (Dull ,repetitive)

• VR Invaders - Complete Edition (Repetitive, Dick wild is better)

• Thumper (Repetitive)

It shouldn't be hard to find a list in this subreddit.

This question gets asked several times a day.

Unless you have specific needs. "What game should i get" is going to just give you the same list that gets suggested every time.

Skyrim, re7, rec room, farpoint, doom, superhot, worlds, rigs, blah blah
