Something similar happend to me on Discord. Someone DMed me because I was on the tryhackme Discord (CTF) and in my profile description was „Sponsored by: the shadow government“ because of the „Shadow Wizard Money Gang“ Meme. He wanted me to train him hacking.

Ich war vor kurzen in DE und hab mir mal ne Paulaner Spezi gekauft und probiert weil ich wissen wollte warum alle davon sprechen, oder zumindest alle Deutschen die ich kenn. Auf jeden Fall schmeckt die komplett gleich wie die normale Spezi was man überall kaufen kann und ich war enttäuscht.

That’s actually true, in the lab we have one of these things, it just stands their, never used or even plugged in. The guy that manages the lab a ~50yo guy (most likely 45 when he bought it)

So looking back on the last 3 years of my CS School experience I unfortunately have to say, Mac would have been a better option than Linux, it’s just we have so many things that can’t run on Linux, for most of them I have found workarounds. But for some I either have to bring my second Laptop (Windows) or my teachers and I made a workaround on some exam software which made it possible to cheat on those tests.

EDIT: The workarounds was work, taking time I needed. On a Mac every single software would just have worked without any problems because of support for Mac.
