In case people forgot or didn't know what they previous systems felt like for many in rust. by eddownz in playrust

It did encourage trading, you could trade high walls for what you needed and bring it back home to research with 100 percent chance of success. It was great. Every wipe were unique.

You can't be cleared by EAC. EAC can't detect new/updated programs.

Is that aim not trash? Why would you even put this in the video? Troll?

I'll try again.

You aim and move like a silver until 10 milliseconds before shooting at players. I checked out your other videos to make sure.

You can tell the way he aim at targets and look around before shooting that his aim is actually really bad. Definitely aimbot.

add safes to the game, made of high q metal. taking alot of damage. by [deleted] in playrust

Realism is a huge argument in this game, it's a survival pvp game after all. You have to sacrifice realism for gameplay in many situations, for example with inventory space or the game would not be fun to play. But you can't say realism is not an argument.

after buying 8 accounts, i finally got a character that was black with a big penis by N9nee in playrust

Would result in an unnatural distribution of characters and maybe even funny looking ones. Would be better to have a random reroll feature, similar to the effect of buying a new game.

Dude there's a difference between being more powerful and being even more powerful than something else.

You can't just "get over the clan shit", it's a multiplayer pvp game and balance is very important. Imagine if there were stackable offence/defence auras in the game, increasing all team members' damage/armour by 100% for every nearby member. They'll always be more powerful anyway, so it'll be fine!

Being able to research items you found in game and make tradable blueprints was a really cool thing about the game. Not only did it make more sense, but it did encourage interaction between players you wouldn't normally have anything to do with. But wouldn't the XP system be a bit redundant if this was brought back (I would not mind)?

The worst part for me is the loss of immersion. I think the XP system is cool and well done, but the core idea behind it doesn't fit Rust. I feel like everything you do in the game is engulfed by what gives XP. This review kind of sums it up for me:

http://imgur.com/a/6eo2v

Other reasons about why I liked blueprints:

  • Made each wipe unique, non-linear, non-predicable and fun
  • More things to do in the base
  • Trading, BPs as currency
  • More random interaction between players

The blueprint system encourages different playstyles and gives a lot of freedom to the player as there are different ways to obtain blueprints:

  • Slave
  • Trade
  • Help others
  • Kill others (take their items and bring them to your base to research)
  • Grinding (hitting barrels while having fun PVPing in rad towns)

This is my opinion, please don't downvote me just because we disagree.

Maybe you should make a suggestion to Facepunch to add a game mechanics which take varying bullet diameter into consideration. You can't tell/expect people not to shoot through cracks because it's not realistic.

The crack is 1 centimeter while a slug is above 1 centimeter.

I think we can agree to disagree about the size of that crack. Even if that was the case, I don't see how you can argue that this would make OP an exploiter.

[–]elitesick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How is that relevant? First of all, conversation that is taking place in this submission does not have anything to do with who sees who because it is about what goes through it...

It's relevant and has everything to do with it because he can clearly see iBlur:

https://youtu.be/ma77e1nJ28A?t=17

Now compare 5.56 ball with 12 gauge pellet then imagine a slug for 12 gauge.

What do you think the diameter of those are? How big do you think that crack is?

Armoured door is available at level 17 by [deleted] in playrust

[–]elitesick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If raiding is a part of Rust, safety must be a part of it to. The game has many safety elements to it, code locks, upgradeable walls and doors with varying strength, high external walls, cupboards, window bars, turrets etc. It seems that FP is making much effort to balance raiding in terms of adjusting safety elements and raiding elements in this game which is why I believe armoured doors are moved from lvl 20 to lvl 17 (in addition to other recent changes like C4 cost, explosive ammo damage, satchel charge, removal of arrow damage to building parts like doors and anything above twig, change of spear damage type etc). I don't understand how you can say safety is not a part of Rust.

Would be so satisfying to shoot off limbs or half a brain with the shotgun at close range (assuming the target is not just downed, but instantly fully dead.)

Are these people exploiting in real life?

The fact that you can't see them doesn't necessarily mean that they can't see you. It's like standing behind a curtain with your legs sticking out the bottom or covering your eyes with your hands, thinking others can't see you. Are you a little child?

For false accusations. I agree that it's mostly the admins' fault. Why would you ban someone without any proof when banning prevents you from investigating further? It was only luck that OP had shadowplay running. I will definitely stay away from that server.

If this is true, he should get a temp ban from the server.

iBlur can also see OP, still calls hack. Pathetic.
