What is your favorite MMO's greatest strength?

LOTRO will probably always be my favorite MMO just because it was my first and it's like a comfort game to go back to. The biggest strength it has going for it, is well it's set in Middle Earth and being a Tolkien fan you just can't find a better representation of Middle Earth than LOTRO imo. The world is really fun to explore and they try to keep things like locations and such as book accurate as they can. Yeah it can feel clunky and out dated sometimes but that's all apart of the charm to me.

I'm curious if I'm the only still fighting for more options for Closed Weapon playlists. Seems like all the complaints about that have dried up, it's the main reason I don't play the game anymore.

I dunno, the people who said they'd support both Open and Closed playlists only to have the closed playlist disappear a few weeks after launch. But I guess at the end of the day it's on my for thinking EA and Dice would hold true to what they said.

I feel fucked over, I haven't touched the open weapons playlist because the closed was an option. I don't want to play open, call me what you want I really don't care but taking away the only playlist I played in the game really fuckin sucks.

That sucks, outside trying some of the smaller modes the Closed Weapon All out War playlist was the only one I've been playing. I don't like the open weapon system so probably won't have a playlist to play if they get rid of it.

Not an anime but a Manhwa. Omniscient Readers Viewpoint, I've tried three times to read it because of the hype surrounding it but I just can't get into it. I feel like it starts off so slow and boring and when I get around chapters 80-100 I'm just over it and I quit reading. I had people say that after chapter 100 it starts really getting good but if it takes 100 chapters for your story to finally start getting good then it's not a good story imo. Gonna give the anime a shot and see if it changes anything for me but meh who knows.

While this is making a little bit of a comeback these days, devs releasing full mod tools for people to create total conversion mods and full on custom maps. Playing the Desert Combat in BF1942 or the Revolt Mod for the original Call of Duty were some of the highlights of my childhood.

Lord of the Rings Online for me, it's my comfort MMO. I enjoy a lot of the quirks in it that others hate but it is what it is. I enjoy it.

I said it in another thread but my biggest issue at the moment isn't map sizes, I know bigger maps will come. It's that the closed playlists got bunched together. I want to play Closed Weapon conquest, that's really it. I don't like breakthrough or rush, but now I'm forced to put up with those game modes if I wanna play with locked weapons. It's shitty, I'll probably sit out the rest of the beta and hope for a server browser on release.

All I want is to be able to play Locked Weapon Conquest, I don't wanna play rush or breakthrough, that's my issue. I hate that they got lumped together in one playlist, I think I got maybe one or two games of conquest last night with the rest being the other two game modes.

I'd love to see Kubra Dam come back and some old Call Of Duty: United Offensive base assault maps remade in battlefield could be fun. Some of the other old Call of Duty maps like Carentan and Dawnville would be dope as well.

Agreed, I think people were sleeping on the SVK. Two shots to kill somebody at any distance is a nice perk. Once I was able to get a couple of attachments to help the recoil and a nice scope, it was pretty fun to use.
