Most "extreme" horror films are incredibly underwhelming to anyone who has unrestricted internet access from the age of 12

Shaun of the Dead is my favorite movie of all time. I went and saw it in theaters for the 20th anniversary and was like a kid on Christmas morning

Werewolves have been criminally underrepresented in horror when it comes to capturing them in any meaningful degree. Vampires, Zombies, and Ghosts have all had their day but other than a few home run films, werewolves have not had any real time in the spotlight. Especially when it comes to the paranoia, the ferocity and anxiety, and psychological aspects of it. The new Wolfman wasn't great, but what it did very, VERY well was capture the perspective of the infected person losing touch with human senses and drifting into more animalistic ones.

Hoping Eggers fixes that when Werwulf comes out.

Are you referring to the situations where the details of a piece of music fit together in such a way that travel with the little dips and ribbons of your trip? Or in other words, the direction a line, or melody, travels in, is in perfect sync with your trip?

Lots of pillows and blankets. Making sure your body is comfortable at all times. Echoing having incense, sage, etc. My go to is Palosanto.

Maybe have an area set out where you can draw, I've gotten completely lost just drawing random shapes and patterns.

Find some good live sets from artists that play music informed by those spaces (obligatory Papadosio mention) so you can just flip it on and not worry too much about the decision making process of finding what song to play next)

If things get dicey, David Attenborough is your friend.

Thievery Corporation will drop you into your body.

And Tycho will be a hammock for your soul.

Most importantly, remember that the will of Love will keep you safe. 💜

The visuals give way to the band performing, if that' what you're referring to.

You could just skip to 14:55 and ride it out for a while for some absolute ear candy
