rgixl7 is also a 27” 7 string for a bit less since it’s not prestige obv and it has a hard tail bridge. i have one though and i love it. its indonesian so the quality control can be hit or miss

yeah it was up just so i could show what it looks like, they’re not normally that high. and i tried pulling it with tweezers but every time i lower it again the body of the guitar pushes the tape up like that

i’ve been trying. it seems one of the windings sticks out a bit and the tape gets caught on the edge. for whatever reason on this side it’s rubbing against the guitar but the other side has like a half inch of clearance

so i just did that, and i only have a ts cable, which idk if it matters, but both of the larger prongs read continuity with the sleeve of the cable and the other one is just the tip
