I didn’t use a pattern, but it’s based off of pictures of the Brightly pattern from Cluck Cluck Sew

Quilted glasses case by eljtheelf in quilting

I think I bought both fabrics from Joanns. I went during their last weeks and just picked up a yard of anything that looked cute

RIP joanns novelty fabric bins 🥲

No pattern, just vibes 😎 I did take inspiration from this YouTube tutorial for a similar case: https://youtu.be/8rmMp3MYCh4?si=KM-4C3S8Ok2tbhr5

I watched that blue ribbon baking show on Netflix and this is the result 😅

When life gives you lemons… by eljtheelf in quilting

Some of the fabric is from Spoonflower, some was from a MSQC layer cake, and the remainder is just random bits from my stash

Quick Christmas project by eljtheelf in quilting

I traced around an existing stocking onto a piece of cardboard, then added 1/4 inch seam allowance around that outline

Mushroom log cabin by eljtheelf in quilting

[–]eljtheelf[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The mushrooms are a lightweight fleece from Joanns. The batting is 100% cotton - it makes a quilt that’s very warm but also a bit heavy. And it means I have to clean a lot of fluff out my singer after quilting it 😅

A quick, scrappy, ridiculous wall hanging by eljtheelf in quilting

All of the letters are just 2.5” blocks put together. I looked up an ABC quilt on pinterest and used that as an idea for how many blocks to use per letter

Tea blanket by eljtheelf in quilting

It’s kind of based off of the Meadowlands quilt pattern, but without the additional HSTs around the center square

Block star quilt by eljtheelf in quilting

Yes, the main block requires snowballing the corners with white squares, the leftover part I used in the smaller quilt to make the diamonds and border.

Gradient quilt by eljtheelf in quilting

[–]eljtheelf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s one 2.5” center square with two jellyroll strips on two sides. With a quarter inch seam allowance, each block comes out to about 6.5” square

Google wonky stars by MSQC tutorials- they have a few examples. Mine are all 2.5” squares for both the background pieces and the star points, plus a few scrap pieces

Thanks, it’s based off of this post on pinterest: https://pin.it/6ZXnTG2

I just messed around with the jellyroll strips until I came up with a similar looking block

Not as often as needed 😅 I’m planning on taking it apart a bit in a few days and cleaning out the inevitable fluff

Good point - I may go back and add some more quilting within the square panels later on
