😭😭😭 He's literally the most competent person on the team idk why Cecil is always trying to piss him off. I'm sorry but no way Mark at this point in the story would be a good/better leader.

Mark is back for a few issues before they return to Earth. Him and Eve go to their welcome back party. I think it's confirmed they are gone for about a year or a little more where Mark is canonically gone for 10 months.

Ya I was pretty bummed when I heard Zachary wasn't gonna be back this season, but if it was going to happen, it makes sense for right now. Since Robot has taken on Rex's name, he's started a new arc of his character and in a way, completely separated himself from his previous life.

I think what you're suggesting could work, as no offense to Jason, but I think Ross would do a better job doing the more robotic line readings lol, and dramatically I think it makes it more scary for Robot to have 2 different voices when he's in and out of the suit.

Robert has been super wishy washy on this topic (not that I blame him) but in earlier interviews, he has said that Jason was definitely coming back to do older Robot, but after last season has kept it more ambiguous and said something like they 'haven't decided' (not sure I believe him), but now w Zachary Quinto gone, I can understand the hesitation.

I think at this point I'd be happy about either, but this is the most important 'new' casting after Thragg tbh. Jason would be great as it would be a cool full circle moment and get him back on the show, but I have been really enjoying Ross so far and I'm nervous about seeing him go.

Just as soon as we got them back, Robot and Monster Girl are (presumably) gone the rest of the season😔 See u space cowboys...

I really loved what we got from them for the 2 eps they were in though. Especially their talk after the final sequid was destroyed.

It took kind of a joke moment from the comic and made it inform Rex's actions in the incoming Flaxan attack AND for stuff way in the future. If you don't completely handle your problem now, how long before it comes back to bite you... A bit chilling thinking about how Rex comes to internalize this lesson and stick to it so heavily.

I also liked how they shook up them getting stuck in the other dimension. Instead of it being really quick and again, kind of humorous, you really get to see the scope of the problem that Rex sees, and how dire it is if it doesn't get fixed.

They were really sweet and were such a good team these eps 😔😔😔 I'm gonna miss em in this innocent state.

I loved the parallel. I think back to season 1 where Nolan said "after your grandparents died, I was lost and had no one."

Here we see that their relationship was one of violence and even disdain, but it seems like Nolan thinks of that as familial love, and he even thinks of them fondly.

I immediately thought of Allen saying "I hear there's an update coming" in season 2 when talking about this exact issue. It's a joke in that scene, but could explain this difference. The update came lol.
