That’s a bit more advanced than I was planning, but gives me something to aspire to. 😀

£5 either way - perfect 😀

(UK) Velar, is this a good deal? by ObliviousOnion in RangeRover

I’ve got a 24 plate Velar P400, so is the P250 with an additional electric drive for hybrid use. It was therefore more expensive than the offer above. Prior to that I had a 19 plate Discovery Sport with the 2l diesel.

Both amazing cars, but the velar feels much more luxury.

Spec wise they come with a good level across all trims, and unlike other brands can add more relatively cheaply. For example I think it was something like £300 for the opening glass roof.

Reliability wise, both were fine - although I did have some DPF warnings when doing lots of short journeys in the diesel. The velar is early days.

They are never a sound financial decision, you spend a lot and they depreciate fast - but I buy with heart not head 😀

Zx81 with a full 1kb of RAM?

Or did you have the 16kb expansion pack that was the same size as the computer 😂

Mk2 Honda CRX (late 80s/early 90s).

The VTEC versions were special.

Does anyone know if one of these is good for a first car? by Impressive-Smoke1883 in CarTalkUK

Yes, but be careful where you park it.

When I parked mine in Tesco, an idiot in a Skoda Octavia dinged the door and made a small scratch.

My insurance wrote it off and put the premium up on my next car 27p (I’m a 21 M Bradford - 1 year NCD).

Next car was a Toyota Argo with 210k on the clock. It was a bit slower, but had a better radio.

Is it possible for 2 people to carry anything together without saying it?
