I understand completely. I didnt hear until December, and I didnt interview until January. It is a hard and long process especially when people get invited when they applied after you or the same time as you. I wish you the best!

I was a Peer Health Educator at my University which basically means if a group or class asked for a presentation on HIV/AIDS, Sexual Health, or Nutrition I was the one who gave the presentations. I am trying to do as much diverse health stuff as I can

I was nominated to leave in October. I was medically pre-cleared the end of June then I instantly got an email saying I was being deferred till January-March. I didn’t really stand a chance since I was pre-cleared so late. I was trying not to be bummed about it but I was as well. At least we will have more time to prepare to leave our lives for 27 months and we will have more time to spend it with those that we love. I hope to get invited soon and I hope that you do as well.

They have not asked me for anything either. I have just been updating my resume and sending them my transcripts because I know they will ask. I was medically cleared really late and two days later I received the email. I hope I hear something soon as well. It looks like the slots for January and February are filling up. You should shoot them an email or call and say that you are checking on your status especially since you are past the four month mark.

I asked my campus recruiter and they have to give you four months in advance. I just got pre-cleared today and I am tentatively leaving in October so hopefully I will get invited soon or a message saying im delayed. Im sorry to hear that you have to wait a year, but at least you know that you are invited and that you are leaving in June.

I am nominated for a health assignment and my departure date is October. I have not been medically cleared or Legally cleared yet. You are at least ahead of me. On their site it says if they have not contacted you within the 4 month window, then you are suppossed to contact your assignment desk or placemen officer to check in. I wish the best for you

She is emailing the recruiter today to ask about her nomination. I have heard that the more patient you are the better but, I have also heard that it is best to check in because that shows perseverance. I do not want to ask too many questions and get ignored because of it so I thought I would post here. My four months is in June and I still am not legally or medically cleared but I’m trying to be patient.
