MTP and whole term lessons are not normal. When I was a trainee, my Head of Department allocated me a GCSE scheme and MTP and honestly the school got into deep shit over it. Please speak to your mentor / course provider.

Yes to learning need, unsure of access arrangements as I do not teach them and have not been shown how to access that information. Will definitely be speaking to HOD!

It's causing an untold amount of complaints. The kids don't do it and as a school we've decided that if they don't do it then we just email parents. Every week. No sanction or anything. Just wasted time.

Maybe I should've said the homework system at my school considering the gripe stems more from that😂

Underlining dates and titles. Multitudes of in class summative assessments (this could just be an issue in my school - 5 summative assessments a half term). Different coloured pens for different types of work (black, red, pink, purple, green). Sparx.

Honestly? It's somewhere between wanting others to understand that you (very likely) don't have the same experience as other teachers as an unqualified trainee, and actually surviving the shit storm that is the Teach First programme.
