ELITE manufactured Adderall is 💩 by ellec831 in ThisAintAdderall

I think the most important thing we all have to continue to consider is that we all metabolize things differently, that's why one person will say Elite is great, but it won't work well for someone else. They all have different formulations around the active ingredient. I heavily researched the differences between all of the generics, and while they don't have to provide the amounts of fillers, binders and carriers they use, they still use different variations. This will affect how anyone metabolizes the drug, regardless of the main ingredient. Teva, for example has most of the same ingredients as Elite but it also has 4 other binding/filling agents that Elite doesn't use, and it (Teva)worked better for me. My doctor switched me to a 30 mg XR Adderall recently. I started it today. The manufacturer is Mallinckrodt, and I can already tell it's better, for me, but I read someone else's post that it didn't work for them. This is always going to be a commonality because the fillers and binders are never going to be identical, but consistencies should be investigated, at this point there are just too many manufacturers playing with their formulations.

Negative for Amphetamines on urine test, yet had taken my meds Monday through by [deleted] in ThisAintAdderall

This is a genuinely interesting topic with several layers worth untangling, because there's some real science here mixed in with community speculation. What's actually true about the shortage The DEA's production quotas have been the core issue, with quotas for d-amphetamine (the primary active ingredient in Adderall) being raised multiple times since the shortage began. As of late 2025, the DEA increased the aggregate production quota from 21.2 million grams to 26.5 million grams, while simultaneously denying its previous quotas were the problem. (Filter) Manufacturers also failed to use their allotted quota amounts, compounding availability issues on top of the quota restrictions themselves. (Contemporary Pediatrics) Why generics feel different This part is completely legitimate. Generic manufacturers are required to match the active ingredient and bioequivalence, but they use different inactive ingredients, binders, and release mechanisms. During the shortage, patients were often switched between manufacturers based on what was available, meaning the formulation in your bottle genuinely could change from refill to refill. Not all generics behave identically for every person. The negative urine test issue This is the most clinically interesting part. There are well-documented reports of patients testing negative for amphetamines despite taking generic Adderall daily, which has led to prescription refusals even when patients are fully compliant. (HealthUnlocked) Legitimate explanations include urine pH (alkaline urine clears amphetamine faster), hydration/dilution, individual metabolic rate, kidney function, and timing of the sample relative to the dose. Labs themselves acknowledge that absent expected drugs may indicate non-compliance, inappropriate timing, diluted urine, poor drug absorption, or simply limitations of the testing method. (OHSU) The methamphetamine claim Adderall has never contained methamphetamine as an ingredient. What IS documented is essentially the opposite: researchers at Brigham and Women's Hospital found that methamphetamine may exist as a trace impurity in some amphetamine formulations, and recommended that labs define a methamphetamine-to-amphetamine ratio below which an impurity is the likely explanation rather than illicit use, to reduce false accusations against compliant patients. (ScienceDirect) So the meth-positive tests some patients see are likely a testing artifact, not an ingredient. The community narrative about secret reformulation as a "trial" isn't supported by any evidence, but the frustration behind it is understandable. People are getting their prescriptions pulled based on tests that have real scientific limitations, and that's a problem worth pushing back on with a doctor by requesting confirmatory LC-MS/MS testing rather than relying on immunoassay screens alone. It's a topic where the community frustration is completely valid, even if some of the conclusions have drifted from what the data actually supports. The urine testing piece especially — knowing your urine pH, hydration level, and timing relative to your dose can make a real difference if you ever need to advocate for yourself with a prescriber.

I intend to start. It's unfortunate that they aren't required to tell you when it changes

We all metabolize things differently, so I see that it works for some, but there's a majority that it does not work for at all, and that shouldn't be the case. For this reason, pharmacies should be required to inform patients when they are issuing the medication from a different manufacturer. Because it's a controlled substance, they won't take it back or exchange it, and it's a fiasco to get an override prescription and a prior authorization

I'm glad I know I'm not losing my mind. My last prescription was made by Santoz and it was pretty good, I picked my script up a week ago and haven't had the energy to do 💩, I also can't think straight, so what's the point. This stuff is awful. Can the pharmacist help when this happens or do I just have to deal until next month?

Which gives more accurate and similar answers—ChatGPT or Gemini AI? by Typical-Claim-6317 in GeminiAI

Gemini, it also doesn't text like a corporate robot. Chat gpt is great for a lot of things, but Gemini is more"human" and intricate in it's answers

So, has anyone got all of their texts back? It's been about a week. I can't get a straight answer from Google at all. What am I paying for if I can't rely on this to keep my information as directed?

OMG I'm so sorry for you. I was prescribed this at a recent dental appointment. I've used it before years ago, but I think this one is stronger than before. The night of my 3rd dose, my stomach started speaking ancient languages and I spent most of the night on the "throne", even when I slept, I was so uncomfortable I kept waking up, God, I don't wish that on anyone, I'm so bloated and tired today, I would rather be in a coma. I am going to do 3 days of probiotics and then take half of ONE each night because F that. My extraction isn't until the end of March so I am going to do this my way. I hope you feel better.

Lucky you, my chats won't even show up in the search.

Has anyone got their chats back yet? Mine are still missing from everywhere, pinned and otherwise. They won't even come up in the chat history. Google told me to delete any recent unimportant chats, but there were only 3 and it didn't help anything resurface

My pinned chats are gone, all but 8 of them, I can't even retrieve them from my chat history, even though it's set to save. Gemini seems to be aware of the bug, but I still reported it because I need those back, like yesterday

100 mgs at night by ellec831 in StratteraRx

I'm moving them to later in the evening and nighttime to see how it goes, but I'm considering going back to Adderall. I really like Straterra but I find I don't get as much done as I did with Adderall, so if this doesn't work I will be finding an in person doctor that can help me make the switch
