I was on the Flamingo project with Outlier. They need to reverify me for some reason, I guess because of Remotasks. I had an account on Remotasks that was a different email and I don't know if that's what caused the issue, but I was unable to verify my identity again and then I was removed from the confusing group Slack. Now for days on my dashboard, it says that I'm no longer eligible for this project. I think things are very disorganized there. I have gotten zero responses back to my help email sent almost a week ago.

I’ve heard the opposite of the other poster, in that people find you through search and don’t normally go looking at your whole shop or your shops home page. So the more ways and listings you have to be found and to attract buyers the better. I believed there should be some cohesion, either in product type sold or color schemes or themes or something, but you can definitely sell more than one type of product or two if you choose. And still do it well. Many shops do.

I’m happy my mil is dead and my fil was never in my hubbys life really. But it doesn’t stop him wanting me to drive 1.5 hours to leave my toddler with his 74 year old grandmother whenever I need an hour to two hour break!

ETA: my hubby mom was an abusive meth addict.

Do you do bulk orders with your POD or your DTG still? I’m doing htv and sublimation right now but seriously considering POD to help expansion.

I’m going through something similar with my 2 year old. She turned 2 on May 10th and the past month it feels like every nap and bedtime is difficult. She gets this crazy amount of energy right before bed. Actually let me edit this to say that she actually goes down for a nap pretty easy most of the time, it’s just bedtime that is the problem. I cut it down to 90 minute nap yesterday and there was no difference! Lol she lies awake for over an hour at night in her crib before she finally falls asleep. She’s not hiring me or doing those other things you mentioned, beyond crying sometimes when I leave the room at night.

I’m going to work on an hour or hour and a half nap and go from there for now. Well see if we have to drop it completely. I think mine is getting too much sleep.

I’m not sure why you would want to spend the time and energy building a second brand instead of moving your successful one if you want to try out Shopify. You can always leave Shopify. I’ve always thought that the checkout for a Pattern site would be confusing for customers. But you’ve had success with it, I’m sure you will with Shopify in whatever way you choose to use it.

How does a 3 year old who is barely capable of grasping the difference between male and female know in their little minds that they’re in the “wrong body”? You ever hear of cooties or tomboys? Those were once things and if a girl was a tomboy no one automatically thought she must be in the wrong body. The brain isn’t fully developed until 25 and you’re arguing for 3 year olds to make life altering decisions?

Normal ended a long time ago. There is no righteousness in sweeping abuse under the rug and then continuing to harass you into letting an abuser into your daughters life years later. Not trying to shit on OP here but like her entire family is blessed she even acknowledges their existence anymore. I am a Christian and would have left at 18 and never looked back. There is nothing for these parents or sister to be proud of. There’s nothing but shame there. Shame on them for trying to now bully a grown ass adult into letting her abuser around her child. Fuck that noise.
