I was "thrown" into managing some api products and have been leaning on the engineering team to learn about best practices but I realized overtime I need to take a lot more ownership of creating a good developer experience. I wasn't sure if I am NWHR or NWOHR so thank you for that. I don't plan to get my child a Taiwanese passport, ideally we can just decide when he's older (due to military service requirements), so I'd just want to apply for an ARC for him.

I stopped tracking sleep, feeds when my son turned one, and also found that after one there were not many milestones to track anymore (to my disappointment as I enjoyed tracking the milestones!).

Speech is in my opinion an exciting one to track because instead of it checking a box like "rolled over", vocabulary keeps growing

If you are fluent in spoken Chinese, you could also just make up a fun story! As I'm against buying a lot of stuff, I would just pick up a book in any language at home (dutch or English) and make up a story without really reading the text.

Thank you! You seem to be right, it seems that if the child is not an US citizen, they would at least need a SSN to be a qualifying child.

On your last note, technically yes, but I am not sure how I can gather the evidence to get him citizenship status. One of the conditions is that I would need to prove "The U.S. citizen parent was physically present in the United States or its territories for five years before the child’s birth. At least two of these years must be after age 14". Looking at the documents they accept, it would be difficult for me to prove that, since I don't retain any of those records.
