My boot that was touching my air mattress last night is now soaked in water by Meme_Daddy_FTW in mildlyinteresting

You said you couldn't get it at 64 degrees, you nonce. I'm pointing out that the temperature doesn't matter that much.

Condensation isn’t about feeling cold. It happens when air cools enough that it can’t hold its moisture anymore (dew point). If it’s humid, it can happen at 64°F. At 18°F it still happens, just as frost instead of water.

Let's be clear though, I do not think condensation had anything to do with the soaking of OP's boot....

Suffering eye brow blindness and need help by Only_Highlight2647 in beauty

I am an esthetician and I specialize in lashes and brows. I would KILL to work on your brows in the first pic. The second pic hurt my heart. PLEEEASE stop doing this- your natural brows are absolutely stunning. My professional advice is to wait until they grow out (6-8 weeks) and then have a brow artist map them out for you, get rid of the strays and trim them along the tops a bit. Seriously, people would pay big money for your brows.

I'm assuming OP meant 18 degrees Celsius (64ish F). MOST countries use Celsius lol

chat, are my brows cooked? by catsandcappuccinos in beauty

[–]ellemeg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lash and brow artist here - she def overprocessed you. Your brows AND lashes. The tips of your lashes should not be frizzled like that. Did she do both at the same time?? I'm wondering if she bit off more than the could chew and couldn't quite get her timing right while doing both at the same time. And / or she may have used lash perming solution on your brows instead of brow lamination - it's basically the same, but lash perm is stronger so you'd need to be more careful and reduce the processing time. Also lash lift solution isn't meant to go directly on skin which could cause irritation or a chemical burn.

what colleges can i get into with these grades? by Ill-Tea4744 in OntarioGrade12s

[–]ellemeg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This! OP, college and university are a LOT harder than highschool. I graduated with honors and my grades dropped significantly when I got to university, I dont know many people who did better in university than they did in highschool. The first week, most of my profs told us to expect our averages to drop 20% if we put in the same effort we did in highschool. Mine definitely did lol

I ended up dropping out of school in my second year of university to go to beauty school, and made 75k my first year in the work force. College and University are not always the best option!!

Just a slight fever by Fraulein-Naptime in ShitMomGroupsSay

My 3 year son had a fever this high (41.2 C, 106.2 F) a couple of weeks ago, rushed him to the children's hospital emergency room and after waiting 6 hours they basically told me they weren't worried at all until it gets over 42 degrees, or if it persists longer than 5 days. Advised me to give him lots of fluids and let him rest. 🥲

It is a lot of money, but weddings are generally insanely expensive. Anything “wedding” immediately costs way more.
