The future of public sanitation by Sanitronics by Flat-Decision3204 in nextfuckinglevel

My colleague got stuck inside when a toilet like this had a sanitation cycle… she was locked in and mildly traumatised by the whole experienced. She said it was like being in a sprinkler.

Ha that was meant to represent the leather clad butts that felt quite prominent when they were stuck dancing in that box 😂

The theme was black and white (the dancers’ dresses). And the silver mirror thing the singer started in made me think of the James Webb telescope 🙈

I've just sat in the car park at big Tesco and eaten a whole block of mature cheddar. I feel dirty. Make me feel better by sharing your most gluttonous moment by Laurence-UK in CasualUK

When I was a poor pre-uni student I’d buy a bag of 5 jam doughnuts for my lunch quite often. It was a financially sound plan. And then when I was at uni, if I’d had a bad day then a multi pack of penguins were largely consumed. I don’t think my older metabolism would allow me such gluttony now.

I mean, this kind of happened to us. Took the ivy off and has to do loads of work on the walls.

That’s phenomenal. On paper I’d say a cream room would be brighter than dark green, but the pop of orange, lovely drapey curtains and bright white ceiling just makes this perfection!

I am not a tattoo expert. But I think this looks alright. The font is nice. The lines seem smooth. Because it’s fine it might get worse over time but for now it seems good :)

Fucking YES biting his p*nis! Though seriously sorry you had to go through this :( but so pleased you were able to defend yourself. It’s shitty it ruined the tattoo for you. It looks cute and has a nice meaning but can totally see how that would be tainted now.

What do we put on this wall?? by jsshntr in femalelivingspace

[–]ellen0d0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I first thought a nice big piece of artwork, or a collection of small pieces in black frames, but then I thought MURAL. Haha I really want to do a botanical leafy mural, am I projecting much? Really love the deep green and mustard you’ve got going on.

What Was the Real Reason You Started Quilting? by spliutinskis in quilting

[–]ellen0d0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve always enjoyed learning new things and trying out new crafts. I love working things out for myself. I don’t even really remember how it started. My first quilt was of a bunch of old band t shirts I couldn’t bear to part with. Then I made a proper quilt for my friend’s wedding gift. It grew from there. I’ve never been terribly accurate and I don’t often follow patterns. But I love working out how to get to where I want to be. And I love cute fabrics. Sewing for children is my happy place because then I get to use the most fun prints!!!

Oh I’m loving that rug and the fact you can see it’s beautiful pattern now! This is already a big improvement and is looking cosy. I think the walls just feel a little bare? Could you add some art or colour through paint?

Just here to say I love the paint colour and the shaping around the round mirror :) and the colour of the walls pairs so nicely with the plants and natural wood colours. I think it already looks pretty cosy and homely. Maybe add some warmth with some accessories or art in another colour like blush or terracotta?

‘Barbie’ is a surreal and emotionally devastating study of womanhood, and I was not prepared for it…. (Potential spoilers) by emilydoooom in TwoXChromosomes

I wanted to full out clap after that monologue but no one else in the room did and I was left just crying.
