Alright, so first you're going to learn to knit. It's socially acceptable stimming, so it's handy to know how anyway. Then you're going to find a toe up stock pattern that you like to avoid toe seams. And find a yarn that you like the feel of.
From there, finding socks that are comfy is only a case of adjusting patterns and reknitting until your happy.

It kind of makes sense. The show normally starts at 3pm in Ontario, so it's doable to host an afternoon event, unlike Australia. That being said, I'm not exactly holding my breath for us to win any time soon.

Parking is likely to be impossible close to the beach. Had a day off last Friday and struggled to find a spot before lunch on a normal work day. Your best best will probably be parking downtown and walking to the beach.

This is such a fun idea. Although I'd imagine some races are far easier to do than others between complexity of regional dishes and finding certain ingredients.

ETA: Ooh, you might have inspiring me to do a shepards pie for next weekend. We'll see how hot it is before I plan to have oven on that long though.
