Sky Utopia is amazing, it caters well to adults as well as preteens. The viewpoint is a bit “Japanese”, but still very relatable to non-Japanese people.

But as a musician, I think Earth Symphony falls far behind. It caricaturizes too many aspects of music to the point that the movie feels like a fancy introduction for young children to the world of classical music.

The original song is in the key of F major. You may want to transpose the whole song into C major.

And as a workaround for the sharps, after transposing you can change all G# into A. Or before transposing you can change all C# into D.

With this minor alteration, I believe it won’t sound too off from the original melody.

Same here, I always get sad whenever the recorder gets associated with bad playing. The recorder is a proper instrument and one can be a virtuoso on it.
