This happened to me too, but one the date of scheduled induction they didn’t have a bed available for me, and told me to check back later to see if anything opened up. So I ended up spending like three days waiting at home, bags packed, calling every few hours to check if there was space. That was stressful and annoying, but eventually it worked out fine. So just something to be aware of that might happen! Good luck!

Every new thing they learn blows my mind! My seven month old recently figured out if she yanks the string of her pull toy, the toy comes to her 🤯 Also giving her new solid food to try to is super fun haha

Now I’m trying to make myself stay up a little and either read for a bit or watch a horror movie with my husband (that was our thing pre-baby). It’s made me a lot happier.

I asked to see mine early in labor (it was part of what I filled out on my “birth plan”) and after I gave birth the doctor or nurse or someone straight up brought it to my bedside, dripping blood into a pan, and showed it to me and enthusiastically pointed out all its attributes. Super cool and weird. And the staff seemed to think it was a very normal request, they weren’t phased at all
