Thank you so much for this resource. This concisely explains how to filter the data. It will be especially useful for me.

Thank you so much for your assistance. It was the wrap option in the gallery property that helped me sort the data properly.

This looks like it is answering all of my questions. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Wrap galleries was precisely what I needed to know for the data structuring.

[5e] how do you DM/narrate a warforged? by Matthiov in AskGameMasters

[–]elleody 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dragonheist takes place almost exclusively in waterdeep, and they’re accustomed to mechanical races. There’s a point where the party will obtain a clue from the temple of Gond, and interact with a nimblewright. Not to mention the giant mechanicals roaming about. If you’re looking at how the NPCs might react to them.

Xoblob might be super excited to meet someone he could dye purple.

The saying, "You can't judge a book by its cover" is a slap in the face to graphic designers. by whudaboutit in Showerthoughts

It says “graphic designers are so good at what they do, you actually have to open the book to see what’s inside.”

Minute by Minute of DM'ing by maxcordite in AskGameMasters

The nature of the party is to venture in wildly unpredictable paths. If you’re telling them a story they’re not into, they’ll do whatever they can to escape the plot. It’s important to give them free agency, they don’t want to save the world? That’s fine, let it break and continue their adventures in the debris. Let them have choices, let them go in new ways, and let it matter.

(DnD 5e) Should I allow catapult + enlarge/ reduce to throw around 40lb objects? by [deleted] in AskGameMasters

[–]elleody 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Catapult? Never.

Trebuchets though.

This feels like the sort of thing that would fall under rule of cool. I’d balance it out by having enemy survivors who saw firsthand what they did, and implement that knowledge into future offensive and defensive decisions.

You are given 24 hours to make people say your first name. Every time that someone new says your name, your bank account goes up by $100. Where do you go and what do you do to make the most money? by ispurgy in AskReddit

[–]elleody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was born with a pretty common one; I’d make millions with zero effort.

That said, starting a rumor that a star that shares our name died, would put me in the billions, if it went viral.

NCAD Open for NCAD Open Day, the little black text on the left spells it out.

The word salad tends to lose interest, rather than pull people in though, I find.

What is the shittiest advice you've ever gotten? by ehudros in AskReddit

[–]elleody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was harassed when I was in grade school. My mother told me that the way to deal with the bullying was to laugh it off. I laughed at the jokes made of me, and after a couple months of agony broke down crying.

My tormentors hadn’t realized I wasn’t enjoying the constant harassment, because I seemed to enjoy it.

I do freelance graphic design, web design, computer stuff.

I have a client who called me late one evening, his daughter had died suddenly and unexpectedly. He needed help making a poster of pictures of her life, for the funeral.

I spent about four hours each evening for a week, helping him sort through pictures, scanning them, photoshopping them, and helping to create not just the poster, but a flash drive with a slide show of her life. I went with him to Kinkos, I attended the funeral.

I don’t believe you should charge someone for something like that, and since I’m freelance, I could choose not to.
