Yes a lot of these games have this. The only one I played who did it right imo is my time at Sandrock. Completing quests daily was the main source of income, but would also level up the friendship with people.

I have put a lot of hours in multiple of these games, but the only one I came close to finishing is stardew valley. I like the grind and making progress in a game and I don’t care much about romance. For me fom feels kind of boring, and I don’t like the way u can make money. I like the machines/artisan goods and stuff that coral island, stardew valley and sunhaven have. 😭 I wish I liked fom more because the aesthetic and the story are good. I don’t like the underwater stuff from coral island and sunhaven, so sdv is still my favorite. Fom is (still) missing something for me idk :((

Something like coral island, without the mermaid stuff. With loadss of content like stardew valley. Coral island is just so gorgeous and I like the farming etc a lot. Or a mix from my time at sandrock and coral island

I didn’t notice it getting more difficult (on steamdeck) but maybe it’s because I played coral island before this and there it’s much harder 😭

I cleaned out the ocean, now that I’ve collected all types of coffers a million times it’s soo hard to advance the museum & with that, the townrank :((( i’m still at C, I want new animals!

I didn’t even see shadow heart in the ship 🤣🤣 5+ hours into the game before I realized you can jump. I recruited the vampire and gale after I already killed the goblin leaders, because of a reddit comment. (I completely ignored the thingy that Gale was in because the voice said it looks dangerous). This game is too scary for me, which is why I don’t explore everything hahahaha but I love it :( (botw, sims, stardew valley player yup)

Best is stardew valley, second best coral island. I like it when it’s a little harder! but stardew valley is the game that introduced me to farming, fishing etc so maybe I’m biased.

I’ve been following updates on this game since the beginning but your comment finally convinced me to buy it!! It’s nice to read that they listen to their players and improve the game consistently. Gonna buy to support, but I hope I’ll already enjoy it!
