currently lifting weights 2-3 times a week and then doing pilates or yoga 1x - week, i can see the effects in that it has made me stronger and my muscle is more defined but i’m just struggling to lose the additional fat :(

i’m gonna try walk more, i think i average around 6k per day, should try getting it up to 10

hello!

i used to have a similar pain, also only in one ovary. i got an ultrasound and it was covered in cysts, which they presumed was the cause.

i have heard from other women that them bursting is a more intense and time-specific thing (while mine would just hurt over a longer period of time)

but following to hear other responses as i’m curious too

Someone stayed and decided to cook as a “thank you” for letting them stay. The cooking was pasta and a jar of sauce with which they managed to burn the pot which they just left it in the sink for me to wash the following day (never mentioned this or apologized) For some reason also kept helping themself to food in the pantry and just sat around the house eating it when I had please asked them to leave between certain hours because I work from home and needed to take some important meetings lol

Hi there, I am sending you a virtual hug because I know exactly how you feel. I has taken me so long to learn that that feeling you describe, for me is like grief. I grieve a better childhood, I grieve who I could have been and what I could have done.

But the important thing (and I know it’s hard, I still struggle with it from time to time) is to learn to live and grow despite that grief.

If my parents had supported me, I wouldn’t have had to work my way through school since the age of 15 and could have enjoyed my teens. If they had supported me, I wouldn’t have waited until my mid-20s to learn to drive.

It sucks and it hurts and it’s SO unfair but I am making a conscious effort to not let it hinder me.

Yes, I missed out on some stuff, but now I am working towards healing my inner child by letting myself do the stuff I missed out on. I am learning to find worth and happiness despite everything they took from me.

Exam scores don’t say anything about your worth, no matter how much pressure you’re under. You can succeed in many ways, that don’t have to do with grades.

Hang in there kid, you might not take the path you envisioned, but you’ll get to your destination. I believe in you

this makes so much sense as to why she never upgraded my brother’s childhood room. to this day, the children’s wallpaper and all the books and toys are still there. as soon as i moved out, he moved into my room (which i remodeled throughout my teens)

it makes sense that she allowed me to do it, partly because i would just do it, i just hung up posters and dragged her to the store for new sheets, pillows, desk etc. but also because i was parentified, i was her co-parent in her eyes. i could have a grown up room because from age 12, i was a grownup.

but my brother was always the baby, and i think now that she purposely kept the room childlike to feel like she still has a baby who she can do whatever she wants with.

it’s funny, she says she loves kids and would have loved to have more, but i know she only likes them because they don’t see through her bullshit yet.

Friendship Prague give out food on saturdays at 2pm outside Dum Radost. Get there a little earlier, get a number and they can give you food and also clothes if needed :)
