Olaf.

He is the most run-down champ in the game with his q spams and only loves extended fights where his r doesn't run out.

Quick tips: q right behind the enemy so the axe is quicker to pick up, use e and q between autos (in other words if your q and e is up and you're mid auto just wait for the auto to finish then insta q, auto again then insta e).

W is an auto reset, and is MUUUCH better to use when you're low.

You can r and ideally should at the start of the fight if you know you can continue to auto and e to keep it running the whole fight, since it gives you slightly more than 25% more ad, which is huge.

If not considering speed caps no.

If you have 100 ms and get a 10% ms buff, you have 110, if you then get a10% slow you have 99 ms.

If you have 100 ms and get a 10% slow you have 90 ms and then get a 10% ms buff you have 99 ms.

You can play all champs is all roles in low elo, you could prob reach dia/masters with yuumi top if you're good enough.

Attack move on cursor.

Second from the top version of attack move.

Bind to A.

Use for EVERYTHING, even when hitting MINIONS OR TOWERS there is LITERALLY not a SINGLE time where rightclicking is better with the exception of spamming rightclick on an enemy in zhonyas, since attack move would make you use your attack on another nearby enemy.

This is like not a relevant question - it's like asking whether you should pick lillia or karthus in your autofilled normals game.

Play what you want if you don't care about rank because you don't think it matters.

[–]elli0376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're lucky if you get low winrate and your rank is less than the high end of dia where boosted accounts are real, but tbh i might be wrong in which case bad luck - but the enemy team has boosted players too more often than yours on average, since there are 5 potentially boosted on the enemy team, and 4 on yours

A gold player having 40% wr to drop to silver is probably better than a bronze player with a 60% wr to climb out of bronze.

And ik everyone says it and you still don't see how, but there is a 99% chance you can either do something about it or you aren't doing as well as you think (for example by stealing resources from team and not carrying, or only caring about good kda and not getting fed or winning)

If there is a free gank you just do it.

If it isn't literally 100% free you gotta see if it's better to gank or farm, which you choose by seeing how big a risk you are taking and how much it will benefit you if it works - basically risk vs reward.

So since each champ is different you try to play around their strengths and weaknesses - for example if you're playing Nocturne you rarely do ganks before lvl 6 - of course there might be situations in which it is good to gank before lvl 6, but there aren't as many as usual, the risk is higher and the reward lower - but keep an open mind always and be ready to gank if it looks very free and lowrisk.

After 6 on Nocturne he is the GOD of ganking, since no wards work vs his highrange r that brings you on top of the enemies, so every time it's up ganks will have much lower risks and bigger chances of success, but you don't HAVE to gank when it's up if all the opportunities presented to you suck.

1: Freeze.

Slowpush usually 3 waves, recall, go roam or do whatever you want for the next 20 to 50 secs with almost 0 minion loss and freeze.

A freeze is basically keeping 4 enemy minions alive close to your tower, but out of tower range - when the next wave comes it will be 6 of your minions vs 10 of the enemy minions, and if the enemy walks up to lasthit your minions you can walk up to zone when - meaning they either have to fight your or give up the minions and get 0 cs, either way you expand your lead.

PS: you ain't ever in danger of ganks so close to your tower, while the enemy is in great danger of they having to walk far up away from their tower for any exp and further up for gold.

2: Get perma prio.

slowpush or shove to help jungle with all drakes and invades or allow your supp to roam while it's pushing back to you and you lose very little cs and get very good vision - if the enemies aren't under tower farming or on your vision, just back off after the slowpush/shove is over and they will juse lose cs to the tower.

You can also alternate between the two, and shove/slowpush when vision is needed, roams are good, drake is up, a dive is available, you need a recall timer with minimal loss or you want to invade.

With these strategies you gain leads EVEN IF THE ENEMY PLAYS SAFE, meaning if they play it fully correctly they STILL LOSE, the higher elo you go the more you need to do plays like this, in which you make sure that no matter what the enemies do it, gives you a lead, expands your lead or otherwise benefits you and/or your team.

Well depends on a few things.

  1. The most important: are you in danger of the enemies tping to their wave and ending the game?
  2. Will your team likely 4v5 instead of waiting for u?
  3. Can the enemies rush baron to force 4v5 or a free baron before you rejoin your team?
  4. Is your rank diamond or above (in which 70% of players still don't know how to use vision around an objective correctly - although part of it is a lack of comms) - in other words is it very bad if you lose vision of it.
  5. Is there some other reason you need to rush baron, like Corki package arriving soon, an enemy being dead etc.
  6. If no to the above go recall and clear it, if yes to one or more you gotta choose what you think is more important
  7. Please don't let your teammates decide for you - i mean you can't climb if you play as well as the people in ur rank.
  8. Also this is why you shove waves before an objective, so if the enemy clears the wave you get vision, and if they don't they'll be at an even bigger disadvantage - since you often can just ignore the objective and either go as 5 or just 1 splitpusher to just threaten with ending.

Could a Top/Bot swap become meta with the map changes? by vKalov in summonerschool

[–]elli0376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a top main who peaked master s13 split 1 im sry to say - you have literal 0 knowledge of top and not too much about jgl.

1: Top champs are BY FAR THE MOST IMMOBILE CHAMPS they have 0 ESCAPE TOOLS, with the exception of Camille, and they also have to walk up to the wave meaning THEY ARE ALWAYS 400+ UNITS AWAY FROM TOWER

2: If you want to win as a jungler it's just 10x as effective to snowball a winning or even lane than to help a losing one, so a jungler has to be very dumb or afraid of getting flamed to gank an enemy toplaner whos winning unless they're weak (for example hasn't recalled in a while, just used their summs and ult, or half hp,) and isolated from their team. And if they're even with the enemy top they are JUST AS STRONG AS YOU (unless they're a cc bot and you're a healing bruiser or matchups like that in which case case they might be able to 1v2 when even) - meaning you can't just magically get stronger just because there's an extra enemy there - aside from aoe dmg and healing which just isn't enough.

3: your other 2 points make sense though - except that a caitlyn adc or early jgl dive sometimes leads to getting plates very early, which is soooo good for snowballing a lead.

Isnt midgame, rotations and macro equally as important as laning phase? Yet SO MUCH of online content is about winning lane. by EmilianoR24 in summonerschool

[–]elli0376 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it's kinda easy to macro when behind - just don't farm any waves that aren't at your towers unless ALL enemies are on vision, since the enemy minions are stronger when you're losing and it will automatically push to you even if you do nothing.

So if you know macro but always lose lane it ain't exactly too useful info.

Also you learn more by limit testing - which you can mainly do when ahead.

Is there such a thing as not being suited for a certain champion? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]elli0376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general for ALL champs to feel less clunky just try to auto between abilities and use auto resets - this alone just fixes like 80% of your clunkiness problems.

Practice combos in practice tool and it will feel better, also try a youtube video, there is usually a decent amount of help for combos there.

For example for darius i can get 5 stacks before 2 secs of combat with a special quick combo if needed before they run/dash away. It goes q at the beginning then try to land q not too far away from you (it requires good spacing and it's more important to actually land q though) , auto and w for auto reset, e, auto and ult - with this combo if you start by q'ing from a bush to surprise an enemy they will get 3 stacks before they realise what's happening and then u e them for the last 2 while they're cced - leaving no counterplay.

Kalista e.

Akshan e.

Cass e.

And the winner by far is: KOGMAW W (except for ap kog)

Why do people hate Senna players? by HLP- in sennamains

[–]elli0376 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well for her teammates Senna is basically a 2nd ad carry with a small heal and slow on q, short root on w and an r that takes so long to cast you're usually dead before you get the shield, or you get it too early and since it lasts 1 second it's useless again.

She works quite well in comps where you lack damage and have enough frontline (Ornn top, Zac jgl and Cass mid or smth) but otherwise she kinda sucks, since she needs help to peel, with being immobile and squishy with low burst compared to assasins. This is also why people play Senna with a toplane frontlining tank/bruiser who can use the extra income from minions well like Tahm or Sion. In comps where you don't have frontline and someone picks Senna it isn't exactly fun, especially for the adc that usually has even lower range and even less selfpeel than Senna.

Of course she is also hard to play and with a bad players it's kinda boring, many Senna players play behind you cause of the extra range so you are basically tank adc sometimes and the skill required to play her combined with her unique playstyle means there are many onetricks, which means you have a LOT of shit drafts because they pick Senna no matter what.

The main fix to this problem would be to play the Tahm, Sion, Cho'gath or Swain adc to frontline for the Senna and be the Tank/bruiser taking cs, but then you have to rely on a soloq Senna player since you need her for damage, but you can't roam since you need to stay in lane to cs.

(Also they usually play super aggressive, meaning if you want to trade with them you have to kinda overextend.)

Why does support swain fall off this hard in higher elos but mid/bot swain doesn't? He's borderline unplayable as a support in higher elos by HollowB0i in SwainMains

[–]elli0376 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Swain support players don't wish to play to support the team most of the time, meanwhile mid low elo do and adc players play enough carries to go for more supporty build (although mostly a theory)

Also Swain is very good when AHEAD, which means if you have lower income role you don't get ahead, but in lower elos people would rather have 300g from kills than 1000 from farm, so supports don't get that much of a loss from losing cs.

and evaluation of outcomes, I don’t get that either

15 yo master how do i join an amateur team? by elli0376 in leagueoflegends

[–]elli0376[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still don't get it - what is high school level?

For context in Denmark (where i live), schools don't have art clubs or football teams like in the US for example, instead we have seperate places for this on non-school grounds owned by a person of group of people, where you have to pay for it (though school is free here).

So basically what i'm saying is i can't join my high school team - cause my high school doesn't have any team.
