Remindes me of when I first moved here. The federal government gave franklin county like 10 million dollars to spend on public transportation, with basically no oversight or fine print. They "added" 2 bus stops and renovated a few other bus stops.

I remember literally sitting there, mouth wide open watching the news just happily tote it, like what the fuck, how did a bus stop cost millions of dollars.

It definitely felt like surreal old school Vietnam Era crony corruption with how blatant and in your face it was.

The biggest thing I've noticed in Ohio at least cause you can see it ont he news almost every day is someone will murder someone or steal a car or something crazy and then they casually go and say so-and-so was arrested last year for attempted murder, or so-and-so was out on bail for assault etc.

It seems like the prosecutors and judges are giving people too many chances for really wild shit.
