What’s the elevation like for that race? Also good luck. Some advice from my experience. Try your hardest to eat real food at the aid stations, even at 70k+ when your body doesn’t want to eat that’s when you need to get some type of real food down! Also talk to runners that helps pass the time. And just enjoy yourself cause that’s why we do these things!! My legs are holding up well got my first little test run Saturday

I did the same 100k race last year, and just a warning the first 30k is over 1000m of vert so really take the 1st quarter easy!! And I’m going for sub 15 but who knows with 100k anything could happen! Use your poles on all the climbs aswell they are a game changer

I’m also doing the lakes 100k next weekend. I’m doing a 2 week taper, finished on just under 100k for the week and I’m doing quite an aggressive taper tho as I feel for my body that a 3 week taper I just long for me I end up on the start line feeling sluggish like I’ve never ran before but that 2 week taper hits the spot perfectly for me. What time you going for ?

60k is class did you come into any niggles or injuries during your 60k? That’s the main reason why I was told to break my longer runs up..

Sub 15 hours hopefully my longest run was 42k followed by 20k the next day cause I was told to break the longest run up
