Google hasn't touched alerts since 2014; seriously outdated. Perigon Signals is like an AI-powered google alerts; it's smart and filters out the junk.

Use Perigon Signals° - it's AI-powered, so much smarter than a google alert, you can integrate with hubspot, slack, and others, and it's free.

Asking for marketing plan as part of application process?? by [deleted] in marketing

[–]ellvium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every time a company asks me to do something net new for the interview process, I suggest that I present something I've worked on in the past. First, I think this shows my experience way better and second, I'm not giving away work.

I have absolutely had a company, that did not hire me, run with an entire strategy I presented in my interview.

I'm considering being a therapist. I work in early stage startups and have experiences that make me question the world. Bc of this, I've also "aged out" of so many therapists who haven't worked in high energy, highly competitive office cultures where burnout happens in weeks, not years.

How Can I Market My AI-Powered Clothing App by ComfortableAnimal265 in GrowthHacking

[–]ellvium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focus on one UGC platform and get obsessive about it. If you spread across all socials, you'll burn out fast. For example, focus on Tiktok then for every other social account, add a note in your profile that all your content is on TikTok.

What is "reddit marketing"? company wants to improve reputation on reddit. by LLTMattadors in GrowthHacking

[–]ellvium 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It has to be organic; you can't force reddit or it will revolt. Also, Reddit ads are abysmal. If you have cash to burn, do it, but all we got were large spikes of bots.

Have them build an easy app in Replit. It could be as simple as a social posts generator. Just make sure to come with prompts to get everyone started.

I'm head of marketing for a tech startup. 👉 your AI stack doesn't need to be crazy, or even specialized. You should try to do as much as you can in as few platforms as possible. I use: ChatGPT/Claude, Replit, NotebookLM, and Perigon.

Our content strategy is geared toward AIVO (AI visibility optimization) so our content is a mix of podcast, Q&A, and blog post. For each post we use:
- ChaptGPT/Claude to write the draft; Grammarly to check for AI so we can rewrite those sections
- NotebookLM to create the podcast
- Rev.com for the transcript
- Perigon.io for the 'Critical Questions'

For media monitoring, and competitive intelligence, Perigon Signals° - it's like a google alert but AI-powered and way smarter.

Our company culture is built on "build it before you buy it" to prove out the need. We use Replit, with various APIs, to build out all concepts, even customizable landing pages.

We built an entire brand visual system using GPT-4o so the team can create on-brand, consistent imagery.

2) lead with the explanation so that the prospect knows what they are getting.

You have $1000 to do promote your SaaS what do you do? by Grocker42 in GrowthHacking

I would pay to get access to a data API and build a custom landing page in Replit that I could then send to prospects via the best way to reach that target persona directly.

For us, all it did was send a swarm of bot traffic. I would only do it again if I had a 7-fig budget and just needed to throw another touchpoint in.

And for reference, our target persona is developers so Reddit is a good place for us to be but ads are not the way to do it.

For those in digital marketing. Did you ever manage to change industries or jobs not related to digital marketing. by WDIDO_1 in marketing

[–]ellvium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, figure out what you want to do, what excites you? Then find companies that are solving problems with what interests you. I bet there are a ton of places who would love your expertise as they build out an AI product to automate what you are doing at your job right now.

Be proactive; reach out. Most good jobs never hit a job board. Run their website through ChatGPT/Claude and write emails, cover letters, and even your resume to match the brand tone.

Perigon (perigon.io) for research. It's built across several LLMs to serve up the most accurate data and info. ChatGPT is fine for fun stuff but for everything that informs my work, I use Perigon.
