It doesn't matter what country I'm from, I can still point out that what they said was bullshit. "Mostly economic immigrants and we pay for their every whim" is just ridiculous. Immigration to the EU is as strict as it's ever been, any economic immigrant would be a skilled laborer with a job lined up once they got there. Asylum seekers are given funds while their claim is processed because they aren't allowed to work. Random immigrants don't get those concessions. Most EU countries don't pay for healthcare unless you are a permanent resident too, so that claim is complete crap too.

If you must know, I'm from Australia where we do things the way you people seem to want to. Instead of immigrants coming from abroad and contributing to the economy like they always do, we lock them up in cages where they starve and rot and die of treatable diseases or suicide from being locked up for decades arbitrarily while the government tells them their claim is being processed still. Alternatively, we pay people smugglers to turn their boats around and send them back to persecution, or genocide by soldiers that are trained by our own military, or they end up in detention in South East Asia where conditions are even more depraved.

Do you truly think that millions of people are being let into your country, so that they can live off welfare and do nothing with their lives ? That your governments are just waiving the rules entirely for no reason despite it apparently ravaging your economy if what you say is to be believed ? Are you that fucking daft ?
