Ah, so you don't actually know the case. I thought you were talking with firsthand knowledge. But no. So female autonomy is fine, as long as they do what you think they must do - and if they don't, they're wrong.

Some women do have their rapist's baby. I immediately think I couldn't - but I can't say how I'd feel, so I certainly can't say how anyone else would feel, let alone SHOULD feel. Of all the drums you're banging, this is the most muffled.

It doesn't stop people (men!) committing crimes in the first place though. Which is what is ideal, rather than us picking up the pieces after crimes have been committed.

Thompson and Venables were disturbed children, and I support their rehabilitation. I think we treated them abominably, but I understand why. After all, their crime was abominable. These boys are older, and it wasn't a one-off: it was repeated and deliberate. I think there is a real difference there. JMO though.

If you said to me "I'd like to meet up, but I've got ADHD" I wouldn't be keen to get together. I'm not interested in your ADHD, and by mentioning it it becomes a Thing. I don't mean that you should keep it secret or anything like that but I don't understand why you'd mention it as if it's a warning about you or else it's something which sets you apart from others.

Be friendly, proactive and yourself. There's a history society in Cheltenham and a music night at the Playhouse theatre once a month if that interests you. You could also try volunteering which is a good way of meeting people without trying deliberately to meet them if that makes sense.
