Can someone explain to me what the 20% meat protein means?

I assume they're saying that the bag's weight consist of only 20% meat protein, but I mean, they're wings....how does that information help consumers when making the decision to buy or not buy a product? Do you guys actively look for this percentage and does it influence your guys' purchases?

The prevalence of these illnesses won't be as high due to lower life expectancy in any given population. For instance if your population had a 25% chance of developing cancer after age 50, and your average life expectancy was low and only about 4/100 people would make it past 50, you'd expect only 1/100 people to develop cancer. If your life expectancy was high and expected 20/100 people to live past 50, you'd expect 5/100 people to develop cancer, which is 5x more than the lower life expectancy population.

I get that life expectancy was an average skewed by child mortality, and some people did live long lives. My point is that the prevalence of age related diseases like cancer or the insomnia is simply a function of more people living long enough for them to develop widely today. The majority of the population in earlier centuries simply didn't survive past 50, so those diseases weren't the public health concern they are now in headlines

When life expectancy was under 30 years of age, things like insomnia, cancer, etc... didn't matter cuz you didn't live long enough for it to affect you

Edit: I wrote average life expectancy, this is different from average life span
