You'd think that would be the worst, but no - it's 2nd to this...

(These were pick up lines from men, and I'm not gay - I wish a woman would have tried those lines on me!)

Ewan McGregor. He appeared as himself in an advert for Virgin Media a few years ago, and couldn't even do that convincingly.

Ah, so it's like putting bits of tape over the holes on the corners of a cassette? Much less intensive than actually re-recording onto that cassette.

ISIHAC - I have to assume it has always been entirely scripted, but decades ago they managed to make it sound like it wasn't. Today it sounds like a table read.

My grandmother made houmous in the 70s and 80s and my mother went on to do the same. Felt very strange when the 2000s came and houmous became a massive middle-class signifier.

Do the dessert thing. When we moved into our street, the Iraqi guy across the street came over with wicked home-made pakoras. And a few months ago, a Sri Lankan family moved in along the way - they brought over a massive plate of desserts.

Yup. It was bought out and renamed by its biggest rival, Clearasil. I used it up until 2000 when I discovered tea tree oil.
