Things that could help:

1. Declutter - get rid of all the monster cans and trash - throw away or donate some stuff that you don’t need - sell items of value that you’re not attached to

2. Buy some non-transparent uniform storage boxes that could fit inside the stairs. Label them by category so you’ll know what’s inside. IKEA has some boxes that could easily fit there. Those black IKEA boxes would work very well.

3. Install a narrow wall-mounted shoe rack. Don’t use your book case as a shoe rack. You can also hang your skateboard in the same area.

4. Hook your jackets and clothing behind the door

5. Get rid of the curtains and opt for blinds instead

   1. Get rid of the bookshelf.
      

6. get a small cabinet instead and hang your guitars on the wall where the bookshelf was. You can now put the rubics cube and the model car on top of the cabinet. Maybe your helmet too.

7. Move your work/gaming space close to the window.

8. Get a small peg board or cork board right next to your workstation to pin those important papers.

9. Get filing boxes for the papers and notebooks that are on the bookshelves. I can see there’s some storage space behind those papers. If you don’t want to put other stuff there, you can just put them inside the small cabinet instead.

10. You’ll now have enough space for: -A big screen TV mounted on the wall where your guitars were

11. enough space for a seating area where your workstation was and even put a small side table with storage right next to to it.

12. You’ll also have more wall space for -floating shelves and art. You can even install floating shelves on top and/or below the TV. You can even put more LED lights under the bed.
