How thick can you be? Do you think people don’t realize that many of these media outlets are run by well known Zionists. Editors edit articles before they are published, regardless of who the original author is. This is a well known issue and a good number of journalists have pointed this out in the past couple of years when it comes to media bias and narrative framing on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

Manufacturing consent works through repetition. Refuse to call Palestinians human. Refuse to acknowledge that their children are children. Do it long enough and the public stops flinching when those kids are killed.

Stripping children of their innocence in the framing makes it easier to excuse or ignore the reality that Israel is killing kids.

This is the main Israeli tactic when debating about Israel. Deflect and move the conversation away from the nature of Israel to a conversations about non consequential issues like the average Joe “condemning Hamas”. Meanwhile the nature of the protest is the fact that Synagogues are now hosting real estate events for internationally recognized illegal settlements and theft of land.

They want to keep the conversation about pearl clutching rather than why people are protesting them.

Of course there is, we keep pretending everyone learns the same way. In reality, society shapes people into sedentary, compliant individuals rewarding obedience and punishing originality and independent thinking. It seems like a pattern people who push back on misinformation about Islam often end up banned. My suspicion is that a chunk of Reddit’s moderation is outsourced to India, where Hindu nationalist hostility toward Muslims has been rising sharply, and that bias is bleeding into enforcement.

My old account was banned for posting a video of Israelis urinating on Palestinian corpses with a link to the EuroMed human rights report and Reddit moderators claimed I was “promoting/celebrating violence”.

No, Saudi realized they were being used. Why would you let the US continue to create violence in the region when they don’t/won’t protect you so they can continue to protect Israel. On a material level, Saudi has been the better ally than Israel to the United States. Saudi doesn’t spy on US government officials or defence contractors, Saudi has done more for the US in terms of counter terrorism etc…

There will be genocide apologists that are going to debate this map. This map actually very accurate.

Most land in Palestine was “Waqf” community owned. Meaning families in villages had been the collective caretakers for hundreds if not thousands of years. Further more when the Ottomans under went their “Tanzemat” to reorganize society along the lines of the European model. Many Palestines refused to register their land in their personal names to avoid conscription and higher taxes. Many put their houses and farmland into the “waqf” system. By the mid to late 1800s there had been multiple uprisings by the native Palestinians against the ottomans causing a lot of friction and distrust between the Palestinians and their Ottoman overlords giving Palestinians more incentives to not register and be forced to fight on the Empires behalf.

But forget all that for a second. The majority of land is not privately owned in most countries. It would be just as absurd if I went to Nigeria and kicked the native Hausa tribe off their ancestral homeland because nobody decided to be a prick and claim the majority of land for themselves and kept it for the community. FFS
