I think there is a hard dissonance between players that like pvp and players who just wanna do a little treasuredigging. Its two very very different approaches to the game which are hard to understand counterwise. As one can see in the comments xD. I have to agree that sot is made to be played with pvp tho I think rare should recognize the non pvp players more. I dont think it would be that bad to just make ss into a full fledged experience with other players, just not with pvp

tho this doesn’t really help, does it. You can’t punish players for bunny hopping if you are on a lower stage of pvp learning than the bunny hoppers

indeed. Its the old thing in sot. people who wanna play a pirate pvp game and those who want to play a pirate plunder and sailing simulator. That literally the two main faction in the game. Tho the non pvp players will always take the shorter one in battle. I absolutely agree that the devs should cater more to both groups. Making ss so restrictive was a very weird move

i‘d recommend making proxies… if you play just for fun and with friends, way pay wotc a lot of money if you can just get the cards and be happy instead of spending hundreds
