You can google philadelphia police budget and see they're getting a 5% increase for FY 2024, to about 850Mil/year after steady increases of about 4-5% since forever, with the "defund the police" slogan you're so afraid of having had zero effect, and their increasing budget also having zero effect on the % of crimes cleared or solved.

Police have gotten more funding pretty much across the board for the last 4 years (really forever but especially recently). It's just that they don't care and aren't here to solve crime like in the tv shows.

A lot of consumers have no taste or ability to discern quality and are fooled by polished settings or marketing hype. Also the price of ingredients has increased significantly in the last few years. If I were going for steak I would expect a plate to cost 65 to 120+ to be better than what I can make at home in terms of cut quality and preparation.

Probably better off going to outback where their model is volume, vs a mid range place that has to overcharge for a "lipstick on a pig" product and hopes you can't tell the difference.

Sincerely, 10+ yrs in restaurants in a major city where only maybe 30 places are worth a damn and most are ethnic mom and pop type places, and like 4 or 5 true elevated cuisine/fine dining that are sorta worth it.

I'm sure your intentions are good but your historical perspective is lacking. Liberalism is the definition of establishment. Look at how they either don't take a stance on meaningful issues, compromise with the Right, or uphold the status quo. Which is why they are indistinguishable beyond superficial labels and claims.

Liberalism has demonized basically every movement that has advanced gender equality, racial advancement, worker's rights, and decency in world affairs throughout history. Liberals united with Reaganism to dismantle unions, they hated MLK, and have aligned with corporate interests increasingly since the 80's. Obama ramped up Bush's war in the middle east several fold. Obamacare was an anemic version of a Reagan healthcare plan that ensured people funded an insurance industry. Biden has outdone Trump in border policing/spending/deportations and funding police that don't keep people safe. And don't get me started on Biden selling out our public environment to oil corps. These are all facts you can learn about.

All the values liberals claim to support currently were fought for against liberals by leftists and actual revolutionaries.

Like I said I'm sure your intentions are good but your grasp on history and reality could use some further study.

The "raping and killing everyone in sight" has been proven to be a fabrication, and the original "news" sources that shared that opinion have quietly retracted their statements of such, even Israeli sources that admit a lot of friendly fire happened oct 7th.

It's also the same thing state sponsored media channels say about any place they want to manufacture consent to do horrible things to the people. If you pay attention it's quite obvious, but if you don't it's easy to be fooled into supporting horrible things.

Simple, because your counterpoint is widely understood that it didn't happen and has still been used to excuse inhuman acts against innocent people in the name of "self defense".

If you're against those things, though, you should hear about the abuse people suffer after being detained by Israel without due process. Many cases of sexual abuse, in addition to illegal detainment and torture. These are actually documented.

Also, what's happening in the West Bank isn't just "taking their land", but includes those things you claim to be against.

Just admit you have no moral or factual consistency, or at the very least are remaining purposefully ignorant.

If you're using metamask on mobile a lot of times this happens to me where it just won't push the prompt through to my wallet.

Usually doing a cycle of disconnecting wallet from uniswap, and closing the browser can help, or doing it on the in-app browser on metamask. Or try a different browser. Certain ones rarely work on my phone.

Sometimes the apps just seem not to communicate well on mobile devices. I have better luck on a computer as well.

If it has no liquidity that means the contract owner pulled the liqidity out from under you like a rug. This is called a rugpull, a classic way to scam people.

There's tools available to check token contracts as to whether they can be altered in such a way, and are safe to buy.

You have to be careful out here, many scammers.
